BUT, OMG this reeks of PR material. I'm all for the dog, but splashing this up as news (not on this site, i mean in general), is such an obvious move to generate an "aww" factor that it stinks. Whatcha want to bet the "role" is equivalent to Bonecrusher's in ROTF, one funny scene and then out.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Anthony Hopkins is awesome, but I dread his role, human or Cybertronian or, hell, Creator (I could see him as a Judge Quintesson's voice).
It's Hugo Weaving, Leonard Nemoy, Ken Wantanabe all over again...Excitement over a spectacular actor, disappointment when they are subjected to a side role or not given the writing they deserve.

The man, the myth, the legend – help us welcome Sir Anthony Hopkins to the #transformers universe.

Wait... These movies FEATURE cybertronians? Interesting. I always thought they were the side characters.
So long as they don't turn him into a bad joke.Seibertron wrote:If they can just add Any Given Sunday's version of Al Pacino, I'll go make some popcorn now! Looking forward to seeing Anthony Hopkins, one of my favorite actors of all time, join the Transformers franchise.

Still not gonna see this garbage and watch it further drag the good name of the transformers through the mud. No 9ffense to Mr. Hopkins and I know that even when this garbage bombs at the box office his reputation will remain untarnished.
