I wonder if they were looking at an early character model for Kup and Cyclonus. Neither head is totally true to the movie.
Understandable...
Others may disagree, but you could probably get $25 for him pretty easy.
Depending on how much you want the Kingdom version;
List your Siege version for $30 including shipping. If shipping ends up being $8, that's still $22 to put towards the new version.
I know it's kind of a kick to feel like you've lost a little $$, but I guess I'd try to gauge which is worse; the loss of a little $$ for a version you really like, or having something in your collection that you're not completely happy with.
If it helps, I just did a tiny bit of digging... I saw sold/completed listings on the 'bay;
3 days ago one sold for $31 +$16 for shipping!
That may be a bit high, but makes me think what I suggested is not only reasonable, but could definitely do the job of getting him sold quickly for you.

I still think this is one of the best SS figures

(Brawl and Long Haul are WIP, Long Haul is the current one I'm working on)
Got Brawl out of the box for this picture, and I gotta say I really like that figure. It has issues like the cannon barrel tail and the turret not rotating, but both modes look really good.
After having leader class Deep Desert Brawl since 07, I was surprised that SS Brawl A) had a mouth, and B) wasn't actually enormous in the movie. He's only a little taller than Ironhide, but from the leader figure I had always assumed he was huge xD
He was huge in the movie when compared to the one Autobot he interacted with the most in the movie, that being Jazz. But since Jazz's '07 toy was so much bigger than SS Jazz, SS Brawl didn't need to be as big as the Leader was.EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:After having leader class Deep Desert Brawl since 07, I was surprised that SS Brawl A) had a mouth, and B) wasn't actually enormous in the movie. I too got SS Grimlock, will share pictures eventually. He's good. Really fun. But they should have traded Wheelie for a sword, wheelie really sucks

That's what I'd been saying back when the original reveal happened. But everyone was like "Nah brah, Blitzwing re-tewl!" Glad to see you're smarter than that.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Vindication!-Kanrabat- wrote:It was very interesting and it's clear when transforming that this Starscream have nothing to do with Blitzwing.
They have a similar overall look in bot mode but that's it.

I was the same way. When he first came out I didn't pay him any attention, and after a few months I saw him on a shelf at Wal-Mart and got him on a whim. Most pleasant surprise of a purchase I had in a while. If he didn't have so much black on him, he'd be perfect.-Kanrabat- wrote:After playing with SS Sentinel Prime, I can tell that he blew me away. The bot mode could use more red on his legs, but it's his only flaw. The sculpt work us superb for this perfect bot mode. The truck is flawless. And the transformation is pure pleasure. I should have getting him sooner.

Transformation is interesting but relies too much on friction to hold parts in place. Overall, if you're a movie fan this is a good addition to your collection.
it was, thank you. If only the SS version was all red like the DoTM version, it would have been perfect. That's way too much black.-Kanrabat wrote:I had fun comparing the two. Hope you had fun reading this silly post as well!
