Sadly no, and thats a policy shared across north america.
Really?
That's dumb as h*ll.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

On the flip side, the head and guns are cast in the same blue plastic as the feet and forearms, meaning the entire headsculpt's deco is painted.Hellscream9999 wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:Heh, I was going to post these pics from the thread on 4chan! Whoops!
(I never knew Down_Shift was a /toy/ soldier...)
So what do you think of the new seeker mold?
Well, I can only speak from what I can see in Down_Shift's photos, but...I'm not impressed. The robot mode looks good...from the front. The overall shape, the wings and the shoulder pads are all cool but he's so damned hollow it isn't funny. The legs, the arms, the back, even the HEAD is hollowed out. Also, the headsculpt is (IMO) seriously ugly.
The jet mode looks OK from the top but holy undercarriage junk, Batman! The shoulderpads make the wings utterly useless and the hollowness continues unabated.
Also, the plastic has the "metallic swirl of doom" which at best makes him look horribly cheap and at worst is potentially a signifier of the figure crumbling to bits in a few years.
Jeez the head is hollow, this is getting a little out of hand - definitely won't pay $23 for this now

I dont think any of us could tell when your signature has a Prime image in it. I thought it was your favourite show, no joke.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

I kind of hope so since both of the decos so far are very similar to two existing RiD cons Quillfire and Fracture.

They probably wont, Takara Tomy doesn't like to use the same mold more than once if they can help it. At the very least they might do him as a magazine exclusive or something, but not likely for retail.

Yeah I realize that is just the unfortunate truth, sadly.
Kurona wrote:Actually, that tends to just be true in the Legends line. Meanwhile in the TAV line, they've seen virtue in giving Strongarm and Steeljaw exclusive new decos in Grejeeber and Phantomjaw -- if they're fine with making random recolours out of nowhere, I'm sure they'll be fine with new tooling.

So not all hope is lost for a BW Scorponok deco and, hopefully, we'll be able to get a Skywarp or Thundercracker out of Starscream. Heck, since they've made new characters out of recolors we might even get a brand new seeker! Wishful thinking though...
Wounds he wouldn't have had treated after all the years that passed between Prime and RID? Knowing how vain Screamer is, surely he would have treated them.Zeedust wrote:Am I the only one unhappy to see Starscream again? At the very least, some Predacon wounds would have been nice.

Freakin' popularity contest, I swear.

william-james88 wrote:To be fair, the entire show is a popularity contest. The leader is Bumblebee and Prime shows up once in a while to sell more toys. Plus you have the popular Drift and Windblade characters show up to cross sell media they were hyped for and lastly you have Grimlock who is ever present. And guess who shows up to help for one episode at a time: none other than Jazz and Ratchet! But all of that is balanced with the villains who are mostly original and extremely inventive in design. So its a fun show to create the biggest amount of new characters in quite a while and hedges on some big names on the good guy side.
