I was on the fence with the first version because it seemed like it was neither different enough from the original or improved enough from the original to 'bring' anything to my collection.

Throne looks to be made cardboard doesn’t look plastic looking at detail of top throne

The yellow piece looks (to me) like it's one of the 'Enigmas' that fit into the Voyager Class PotP figures, so maybe the scepter can be 'powered up' with a Prime Core?
And yeah, looks like the gold scepter turns into a gun, though it'd be awesome if it transformed into a small Emirate Xaaron.

There’s also a Scepter of Sparks accessory, designed to hold four Prime Master figures. The Halo of Primus display can be used to create a display of Prime Master power, with the ability to hold 12 Prime Master figures. No word yet on pricing, but we’ll update when we know more.
