I actually bought three of each and sold them already.
It's the only time I've ever engaged in scalping and I feel kind of bad about it. I guess I really didn't make too much profit off of them. $2.25 retail + $3.50 postage + $0.75 for the envelope + the ebay and paypal fees... and because I felt bad about scalping I priced them $1-2 under what everyone else on ebay was selling them for...
These had been seen at Meijer and we reported as much here as part of another sighting
https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... ail/40652/The news here was that they were appearing at grocery chains since its pretty cool to find the latest toys there of all places.
And dont feel bad about the "scalping", at the price you sold, its more like you gave a chance to someone who was afraid of not finding these to own them right away. People bought it instantly, proof that the price was fair, and they would have bought them if they saw them at retail, you just provided that sighting to them directly.
The scalping that sucks is when you are looking for a toy desperately and all you see are a bunch of online listings at double the price that are not selling.
Basically, THIS is Scalping:

I cut the nubs on the generations one so it wont break. Its a great design and a cool original mold, better than this (once you fix it)
Does cutting the nubs change how it looks? What part are even the nubs?
It changes nothing. The nubs are the small extra pieces of plastic that protrude at he back of the handlebars. Its these little nubs that fit into the steering unit in motorcycle mode. So shaving them off changes nothing since they are always hidden anyways.
