Bruticus is by far the best CW ever built (Except you, Jet-Molded Blast Off)

For CW, sure I guess we could say Bruticus was the best. But Unite Warriors Computron and Grand Galvatron are still better :-P

what about devestator?

I assumed we were referring only to the scramble city bots.

Sorry, you only said CW and devy is apart of it but I guess devys in a class all,his own and nothing really compares to him yet

But as others have mentioned, the Seacons & the Pretender Monsters need an update, too.

Since I'm in Oregon, I probably won't see my Prime Masters from HTS til Tuesday or so.

Considering the role monstructors played in the IDWverse its kinda mad he hasnt been released yet.

especially since he's the one that got jipped the most in toy form. a propper big monstructor would be well welcomed.

Just received my first Potps, the three Prime masters, Grimlock, Slag and Swoop...

...And I think I've spent more time playing with the small Prime masters than with the dinobots.

I like clear plastic when it's used well, but with the Dinobots I think Hasbro have overused it. So much of it on the legs just doesn't work for me.

Then there's Hasbro naming Sludge's alt mode as a brontosaurus. Wasn't it revealed that the brontosaurus never actually existed, that it was misidentified?

Lastly, (and I'm sorry for taking the topic in this direction) but they're pairing twelve Primes with twelve Pretender shells, and they just so happen to pair the only female Prime with the one Pretender with tentacles.

Implementation of proper Combiner Ports, two each. It's worth noting that Deluxes don't have proper ratchet joints, thus no springs. And it's springs that are inside those ports.

The deluxes have springs in their combiner pegs don't they?

I honestly don't think making two figures combine into a torso while still retaining the current combiner system would be that difficult. The individual bots would have to be sightly bigger than standard deluxe figures so box sets would be the best way to distribute them.

I think people are forgetting that each combining figure already houses a giant Combiner peg that's mass equals about what would be needed for two receiving ports so the space is already there it just needs to be distributed differently.

If you own CW Computron, you could give Elita all of Computron's non-torso components--including Scrounge and Cybaxx--which would make her a combiner of seven components, at which point you could call her Elita Seven. ;)

Well, in a moment of telling myself '****', my local retailers basically intend to empty their Titans Return/RiD 2015 stock for the holiday season. Meaning no PotP for the next two months easily.

In a related note, my CW Liokaiser arrived in the mail today. Gotta say I am liking 'Deszarus' more than I thought I should, given his controversial nature. He's a dopey space shuttle that turns into a dopey bird-faced kaiju. And, yet, his color scheme is so lovely, rich, detailed and unique (his turquoise is not one I recall seeing anywhere in any recent product) that I find myself loving that dopey oaf of a figure more than anyone should. Not only that but since this does count as a Deathsaurus figure (albeit a rather...imaginative one) this mean I now have every major G1 cartoon/anime lead villain short of Scorponok.

Heh, or in that case, forget the CW Computron limbs specifically since two of the Rook mold as feet would also make seven units.

Since that same character has also been Elita Five, you could just pick four random limbs and call it a day. :P

Australian Transformers Power of the Primes Reveal and Fan-Play Event Images

Postby Va'al » Mon Dec 18, 2017 3:09 am

Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
We have images, news, and information - though nothing entirely new, given the release of most of the first wave of the toyline already in a number of countries - of Transformers Power of the Primes coming at us from Australia by means of fansite Ozformers and its admin griffin, where Hasbro held an event in their offices to share the first toys from the wave with participating fans, in a hands-on event!

The images, mirrored below from this major post on Ozformers, show a number of figures from the second wave of the line too, which we had already seen here in official stock photography. They also had some of the original G1 toys (including Pretenders) for comparison and general merchandising and other collectables from the Transformers brand. Check it all out below!

Today Hasbro Australia hosted a product reveal for Power of the Primes (due in stores here mid January), at their offices in Sydney, for 15 fans to test drive, review and give their feedback (in person and on social media).

This has spawned from two years of a similar product reveal to fans during the Australian Toy & Hobby Fair in Melbourne, so this was the next step, so that we could hopefully have two each year on the Global reveals calendar for Hasbro - early year in Melbourne, late year in Sydney.
Unfortunately, this first Sydney event didn't end up allowing us to give a world first reveal of wave 2 Legends, as Hasbro in America have other plans for their official reveal... but as a consolation, it was still a lot of fun for a handful of Australian fans to be some of the first in this country to have seen in person, and held/played with some Power of the Primes toys (well... those, who hadn't already imported them from Asia or America).

The event was scheduled for 90 minutes from 11am, but since it started a little late, it ended up going for about 2 hours.

You know you've found Hasbro offices when you see big Nerf and Playdoh displays in the windows on one of the top floors.

Did anyone go that G1 Jazz sure has a lovely curvey Porsche vehicle mode whereas the brand spanking new one... looks a bit cruddy? Cos I would have :P

There's still something oddly appealing I find about the those original chunky Pretenders. They weren't great Transformers but they were fun toys themselves and I really liked the designs of both the shells, the inner robots and most of the simplistic vehicle modes. I don't feel the same way about the Prime Masters at all.

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Sadly I didn't see any Leaders, But I guess I should've thought to take a Picture, I was too excited to actually FIND them available.
However all the Legends, Prime Masters, and Deluxes were there for certain. I was actually trying to see anything related to the Prime1 Studios Onslaught, sadly Nothing new has happened since It was teased.

Lucky, I was there earlier this month and the only things of the Prime line I saw they had out were two of the Prime Masters.

Not a fan of the Prime Masters, Carnivius?

There's no replacement for the G1 Pretenders, but I like the Prime Cores and the scale for the humanoid Pretenders represented by the Prime Masters.

I can't wait to receive Metalhawk and Cloudburst from HTS to see for myself....I really liked the Titan Masters.

Motto: "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes"
Went to my local TRU yesterday. They had all of Potp wave 1 PM's, Legends, and Deluxes. No Voyagers however. at 5.99 for the PM's though, I still saved money getting them from HTS, so I am satisfied. My shipment should be coming Thursday. I'm really hoping around January 1 we should have some news from :TAKARATOMY: about their plans for the combiners. I have nothing to back this up with, it just seems like a good time to make an announcement. ;)
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak
