Every once in a while, there's a glimmer of hope, a little piece in the story that if it was given half a chance, could blossom into a story that would knock our socks of. Ok, so it's no secret that I am the eternal optimist who wants this series to succeed, but I'm really starting to reach out kinda desperately here. I want to like this, and it's just not manifesting the way I need it to - the way that will make this series a classic - in 20 years, how are we going to remember Ongoing? Mediocre and lackluster and un-exciting and (ugh) Don's art - Don, you are better than this.
The mass produced Megatron gun portion of the story, to me, is a pretty sinister plot twist. Soundwave talking humans into killing Autobots - that's a little scary too. I'm pretty tired of Transformers as hired military muscle for various world dictatorships. I'm tired of Autobots downgraded to cave dwellers at the mercy of the U.S. Government. I'm tired of roving Decepticons who don't really do much or pose much of a threat. It's like the whole of the Transformers on earth are depressed or something. Give me Autobots vs. Decepticons. Give me one good knock down, drag out battle scene where someone gets beat - by another robot. What, LSOTW wasn't a big enough hint as to what the fans want?

Yes, but make sure that you explain why you dislike something. Simply saying "it sucks" isn't a good enough reason.
God! Thank you! How are we supposed to know what people like/don't like if you don't have something to say about it? You just can't be afraid to throw out your opinions on something - and for God's sake, don't just agree with what others are saying! What's the point of having a discussion if no one discusses anything? While I don't agree with ripping someone apart for having a thought, don't let that discourage you from voicing what you think! Besides, keep in mind that we're trying to get through IDW's thick skulls (* oh, is that yet another example of me being too optimistic? *
)to get some things changed for the better.
Sometimes things just don't get changed until everyone is pissed!

I've been the cheerleader for 14 issues now and it's hard to keep up the positive when there's nothing to cheer about. It's past time for an exciting, dynamic, edge-of-your-seat kind of story that will have us all breathless and wanting more. I'm gonna just have to let IDW have it - even though you've already said it best!
