The whole Magnus Hammer didn't really come about until Animated, so it doesn't make too much sense to include a hammer with a purely G1 representation of UM.
But then again, that would make a great Amazon.jp-type exclusive
Also, faceless Spike & Daniel remind me of this Are You Afraid of the Dark episode:

You really have it in for Citizen Stack, don't you?

Besides KFCs bad timing for an MP Magnus, it just puzzles me how takara could make it scale properly with MP-10 in both modes but KFC couldnt. Takara flat out made the KFC designers look lazy.

while youre right about being chunky (which i think works for him), i really dig the head sculpt.Bounti76 wrote:Color me the only one not terribly excited by this release. His proportions are too chunky, and something about his face seems off. Like he's got a skinny head and the helmet is too big for it. And didn't he have a visor in the cartoon rather than individual eyes?
unfortunately pulling off a MP ultra magnus was always going to be tricky. some sacrifices im sure had to be made and im pleased with the overall result.Bounti76 wrote:Hahaha....thanks for the help. I looked him up on TFWiki right after I posted that and he does indeed have two eyes. They look like sunglasses to me, though.
I dunno.....I am of the opinion that the chunkiness works against him....he is a physically big bot in the show to be sure, but the proportions work better there, even if the animation isn't the best.
