What can I say, when you like a mold you like a mold...

This leads me to a question: with Deep Cover all but confirmed, outside of Clamp Down, is there a Lambo-based repaint that hasn't been done now with the new molds between Sideswipe and Sunstreaker?
There's G2 Go-Bots Sideswipe, whose redecos were Firecracker, Optimus Prime, and RiD 2001 R.E.V.

Also a non-combining G1/G2 Breakdown.

And a few more, but which do not share the same robot mode silhouette of either Sideswipe or Sunstreaker.

I was more thinking just straight up G1 sideswipe and G1 Sunstreaker mold reuses instead of alt mode reuses, but that list works.

So Cordon and that Tiger stripe G2 Sideswipe seem to be about it for the molds. That's a pretty good completion rate
But Cordon is in the Selects 2-pack with Spin-Out.

Clampdown, the other police Lambo, my bad.

Shattered Glass Sideswipe and Armada Wheeljack? They technically aren't specifically Lambo-based, but they are heavily Sideswipe-based.

I actually wouldn't mind them pulling a Barricade with the lambo mold and make one a new Decepticon for G1. I bet the mold would look killer in purple.

He was supposed to have a sunset/rise motif so I wonder if they could name him Sunbow in tribute to the former production company?

In this day and age, many names are taken from other Hasbro proporties (like "Modulus" coming from Nerf), I could see him being named "Sundown" after the cowboy from C.O.P.S.

I know most people don't like non-combining gestalt team members, but I would buy them if Selects released Breakdown in the Sideswipe mold, Swindle in the Hound mold, and a few others that could be done.

Looks like the Galactic Oddessey sets are still getting delayed. I just got a notice pushing back the Ironworks/Overair/Micro set has been pushed to March 3rd.

Edit: Whoops, this probably belongs in the Earthrise thread.

Anyone else hoping for some Generations Selects repaints of Kingdom Cyclonus and SS86 Scourge? I'd love a "toy colors" Cyclonus or two to serve as his "Armada." I could just buy multiple copies of Scourge to have the Sweeps to go along with Scourge proper, but it would be nice if they could be differentiated with an altered head sculpt or coloring.

Give me a dark purple Cyclonus with an IDW head and sword and I'll think about it.

For Scourge, after seeing some more pics and deciding I really want him, I was thinking of looking on ebay for some TR or other, older Scourges to be his Sweeps but a Gen Selects repaint would be cool too.

I'm fine with the regular release of Cyclonus. As for sweeps, I'm on the fence. At $30 a pop, those would be expensive troop builders. I may just watch eBay for people getting rid of their TR Scourge and pick up a couple of them to be the sweeps, that's if I decide I need any sweeps anyway.

Why we actually haven't gotten a SS Selects release, I have no idea. there are a lot of options from simple repaints from the movies to fun movie toy-online repaints (hello, Nightwatch Optimus Prime).

There are options. They should do it. Same with the Commander class, this is a generations line that is now on its 4th year. Selects and other size classes should not be out of bounds

In Hand Images of Transformers Generations Selects Deep Cover

Below you can see some new images of Transformers Generations Selects Deep Cover. We can see that this is indeed the Siege Sideswipe mold in nice Deep Cover colours. We also see without a doubt that this is a selects release. So he won't be exclusive and will eventually be found on online collectible sites, like previous Selects releases were. The images come from Twitter where there were some interesting words used to describe the deco, I'll let you click the link: https://twitter.com/Cheetimus/status/13 ... 2433802241

What do you think of the deco, will you be getting this one?

That is a very nice looking figure. I'll definitely be picking him up when I can. I hope we get Clampdown, too!

Or it could be a reversal of the MP situation, where we got an MP Clampdown and still don't have an MP Deep Cover.

I may be the odd guy out here, and it may be strange for me to say given that overall I did not like the show or a lot of the toy line, but There's a certain Armada Autobot turned RAMPAGEy Decepticon Jacker of Wheels I would like to see released from this mold.

Just confirming. Clampdown would the the only redeco left if we are looking at all the released redecos of G1 sideswipe correct?

No, we ran through that list yesterday. Clampdown is needed, but so is the yellow and blue G2 Sideswipe deco. And then you get more if you go to other uses of the car as an alt or SG it up, which would not only provide room for SG Sideswipe but also Armada Wheeljack
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please!
