Thanks, because I have a hard time transforming Ultra Magnus' legs they get caught with the tab and i don't want to force it. That is why i'm thinking of shaving some of that tab off. Am I the only one with this problem?

No. I have heard of this problem. I've also heard of reports of him breaking in the spot you are talking about. Unfortunately I can't recall any talk about modding the toy to fix it. Have you tried searching youtube?

it has a thick stress mark on the back of each leg by transforming it to vehicle mode once but it isn't broken yet.

I must say that I think I've decided what other deluxes to get to combine with Galvatronus. I forgot that I needed another Stunticon for another purple hand, so I have come up with a good plan:

-I already have Dragstip who will be a yellow arm.

-I'll probably get Swindle to get another yellow arm (just for symmetry no particular reason for yellow).

-Then I'll get Combaticon Vortex and Stunticon Offroad to have some Galvatron accurate gray legs.

-I'll use the purple hands from DS and OR to put on the hands for G1 accuracy to Galvatron, and use the gray Bruticus pieces for feet to give him G1 accurate grayish legs and gray feet.

-I'll possibly design some small pieces to attach in between the legs and the feet to make ankle tilts. (May sell on Shapeways to enable some other CW owners to have ankle tilts too.)

-I may possibly either design a Galvatron cannon to attach to Dragstrip (may post a picture of my custom arm transformation for Dragstrip to enable me to attach a cannon to him as a right arm), or I may just try to build a canon and paint it out of scrap materials. (It's like 70 dollars to 3d print the Galvatron cannon I designed for this purpose.)

So that is my plan. Hopefully when financially feasible I'll get the rest of those limbs and Cyclonus to make this guy, and be able to 3d print custom parts.

Finally got around to playing w CW Swindle. This bot has all kinds of charm. I especially like all the details incorporated on his alt ode, i.e. pouches sculpted on the sides, etc. Ankle tilts give him a great range of poseeability. Highly recommend this one.

I went to a TRU that is out of my area and I saw they had a set of Combaticons. I quickly reached for Blast Off as I want that mold as a stand alone figure.

I just about s#!t myself when I chose to pay over $20 for this guy with tax. It's gonna be wild when deluxe prices near voyager prices.

I'm still on the look out at Target or Walmart for Blast Off so I can get my money back from TRU.

Theoretically, you could buy any Combiner Wars Deluxe and return it to TRU with Blast Off's receipt to get your money back, I don't think the receipts specify characters. Unless you feel that's dishonest or something.

I know there's a ton of figures using the Deadend mold, but I would rather have thirty of them than have to buy that ugly Breakdown mold a second time. I hope they fix the legs at least.

Haha, yeah I am. I really dont like this modernization of the nosecone on both Drillhorn and Nosecone. They really went ultra el cheapo on this and instead of even retooling the mold they just put an add on accessory and say "Look, its still a drill". I mean come on the drill should end up being the whole front of the vehicle, not just some appendage:

No you cant, each toy has a different bar code, and it shows up on the receipt. Toysrus does use a separate toy code for their pricing (makes it easier to bunch them up) but on the receipt, you get the legally obligated independent (and unique) barcode.

Yes I find it super weird. Its like a few sources had it already and were just waiting for the opportunity to leak it. I dont know why they would.

I hate that mold too, and I dont think the legs can be fixed since the problem is how they function at the base level.

It's just supposed to be a repaint of Alpha Bravo!

btw i believe that the final piece of the artwork(Computron) is supposed to arrive today at some point(although i could be wrong on that).
