a) Any idea when they're going to start shipping to customers? Foaming at the mouth for Bruticus to get here!
b) Is Optibotimus going to finish his Combaticon reviews anytime soon? He's yet to review Onslaught, and I'd like to see how Bruticus himself holds up.

I'm on the fence about Onslaught. He was the only G1 Combaticon I had though. Something about him isn't doing it for me, but Bruticus looks totally boss. #thestruggle
He's not doing it for me neither actually. They say the truck mode is supposed to be facing a certain way but it looks like 2 ends to me and I dont really know what I am looking at. And the robot mode looks like a redeco's hotspot in robot mode, especially the leg area with the light bar still there. But looking at the g1 toy and cartoon model he looks pretty good and on point. I just preffer the swat team onslaught we got in the universe line and as someone says, that is all personal preference.
This is his cartoon model, and like those of the other Combaticons, it's a very made up design when compared to the toy:
lol, did they copy/paste the legs on him, how could he have wheels on the same side of each leg, it doesn't work like that

Well, technically, no, it isn't weird. Silverbolt is the best torso figure released, any variant will inevitably make a nice, solid torso.
It just didn't really live up to any standard or hope we had for it. We know hasbro could've done better, and we really do deserve more remolding (and probably an editted paint scheme), as all but two figures are just more retools for the next 2 waves (most of which seem pretty lazy at this point - wheeljack with no paint, blast-off having very little paint apps).
So, it's not weird, you're just in the vast minority.

And as for Computron/Betatron it's really just a matter of paint. I mean a different head would have been better but there isn't that much difference in the torsos that a little paint would not have fixed. HOWEVER if they ever do release technobot limbs Betatron will probably look a great deal better. It's a lot of red but hey, Computron had a lot of red on his chest. Not the right shade but with the right limb colors he'lol look much better. I'm holding out hope.

Well if you go by the animation models from the 80s cartoon as your benchmark for how some of the figures should look/transform, your head will explode. Especially around season2, the animators seemed to have given up on 'accurate' character models and transformation animation. There were some episodes where the animation was really horrible, and the characters seemed off model in every frame.

I think we can all agree that there is enough substantial evidence to prove that computron is/should be coming our way, most likely as a boxset, or interspersed throughout tw
