What is this? This is so lazy, they even left the light bar on him; I mean, I know that it is part of the body itself, but man this is hideous and lazy
Thank Primus I got the first '84 team for him already, looks like I really will just be getting hound from that set of limbs
No wonder we never noticed that before. Look at how they posed his CG render:Hellscream9999 wrote:Wow, is that the finished product? He has no paint apps on his body

Clever, Hasbro. Clever.
And looks to be the same as the ones on display at BotCon and SDCC:

Woah woah woah, CW Smokescreen isn't on that level of bad.

It's cool to get these first in-hand looks but lets wait until we see this in packaging when it comes out before we rush to judgement on something like paint and such. Like those reviewers that review early third party samples says "the final product may change, this is still and early example" or whatever

Well considering that there are no remolded parts, and that all the other versions of this mold have an approximately equivalent amount of paint on the side of the vehicle mode - prowl, streetwise, dead-end, and neckbrace - I'd say it really isn't okay to leave it entirely unpainted in bot mode.

That's why we have Reprolabels.

I was talking about the top: most of the vehicle mode is blue plastic as far as I can tell. Meaning it needs a lot of red paint to make it look like a proper Smokescreen. Only the roof and arms are red plastic, the latter needing blue paint.
