Hey all, just noticed something strange on Target.com. Both Brake-Neck and Quickslinger are still on the site, but they are listed on sale for $13.59 and "in stores only."

If you type in, Thundercracker, on the Target site. you'll also notice CW Leader Thundercracker is only available in stores, not site. It's been like this for over a month.

Galvatronus looks great with the Stunticons limbs combined with him.

Are those the PE feet and hands attached to thr toy? Where did the sword come from, it looks nice.

That sitting pose in that chair has a IDW Comics Overlord vibe to it.

Oh yeah I never thought of that! Brilliant! I was trying to figure out a repaint for these molds, because we all know hasbro and takara does remolds.

Speaking of RID though, when we inevitably get our Bruticus, I want a redeco of him as Baldigus/Ruination. I know we got a Ruination a few years ago in another Bruticus retool (and honestly that was a pretty cool homage on a lot of levels), but if we're gonna go Neo RID then I want to do it right. We've got Sky Byte, Scourge, a potential RID Prime redeco from Hot Spot.... this can happen.
And suddenly I'm getting deja vu. I think I've probably definitely said something like this earlier in the thread. Damn it.

That Galvatronus picture makes me highly regret the fact that I have to Super Prioritize my TF purchases moving forward and that with finishing off Menasor and aiming to buy Ultra Magnus and Devastator and knowing that any of the RID15 Decepticons that get Warrior class toys will also be high priority, sadly Galvatronus here is on the want-but-can't-justify list. I'm even skeptical on whether or not I'll be able to get Hotspot (whom I want whether or not I can pull off a complete Defensor). I'm also sad that I will likely be passing up on some awesome limb robots like Offroad, Rook, First Aid etc.

I'm anxious to see more about the Victorion team because I am going to be hard pressed for space and need to know what my decision on them will be...

Secretly I hope they don't do a Hotspot as Fire Convoy remold because I am weak-willed when it comes to awesomeness and might be overwhelmed.

I think the best repaint of Devastator would be in Diaclone colors.

Also have there been any rumours/news on who Ultra Magnus will be repainted/remold ed into? If they do Powered Convoy I might be financially obligated to get it...

And good news for everyone who is interested in acquiring the figure. Windblade, Arcee and Chromia all came out in the waste that is wave 5 and I could not get Arcee online because of markups and in store because distribution is terrible in my area and the stores were overloaded with movie toys and not interested in the new wave. Still can't believe Hasbro thought it was a good idea to release new Generations characters for Christmas when stores are only interested in getting rid of old stock. Five years ago we still had a chance to see those toys arrive after New Years, but not anymore. It's mostly online or bust for me now.

At least now we've got a real chance with Victorion.

A little tidbit to tide us over to the next big reveal. Fellow Seibertronian Moonshot has shown us this new promotional image which appears on the official Transformers Facebook page. It features Soundwave with the tagline "Laserbeak. I have a mission for you" and the comment:

Soundwave has been tasked with obtaining information on the Combiners, and he’s sending Laserbeak to gather intel. Look out for updates and reports.

While this can mean anything at all, the only other link between Soundwave and the Combiner Wars toys so far has been the similarity between his recent appearance in the comics and the Combiner Wars Motormaster/Optimus mold. Feel free to speculate to your heart's content in the Energon Pub!

You read the title correctly - the UK has just seen the third wave of Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Deluxes hit its retail stores (for now confirmed are ASDA and smaller local shops), with all the figures spotted across different locations. The photo proof below comes from fellow Seibertronian Crankcase79, who reports the finding in Leeds, price point £14.97 (approx $23).

Is the UK finally catching up? Unlikely, as the entire wave 2 (Stunticons and Air Raid) have yet to see the light of these grey shores. Make sure to flag up any sighting for these or other figures in the appropriate section and forums!

I'd been wondering about Soundwave's new robot mode in the IDW comic. Can't believe I didn't notice its similarity to the Motormaster/Optimus mold.

Well, Frenzy and Rumble are motorcycles in the comics now. They look more like Hasbro's Legends-class Groove than Takara's deluxe-class Groove, though.

I just hope the limbs are new molds. They have good repaint value, since each mold has been repainted at least three or four times.

If I had my way, they would simply mold Soundwave with an opening chest... and make G1 size cassettes that go inside. Limbs could be other characters... seekers, etc.

Not sure what vehicles the limbs could be that I'd be happy with. While I guess the tanks we got were probably the best option, they still didn't quite sit right with me.

I think this is most likely what'll happen, but as well as that I wouldn't mind a repaint/retool of Leader Megatron based on that Galvatron design.

Thanks for reminding me... yeah, guessing you're right with the twins being motorcycles. That would make them too small for limbs... but they'll attach at the chest, likely. That's not bad. I also like them that size much better.

Those wouldnt serve as limbs of course, so I dont know what would happen. There is also the notion that the wheels along his chest section mean show that this isn't really the same mold and maybe just the artist inspiring himself. After all he does still transform into the same body he had before:

The Hot spot mold's chest, yes, but not the Optimus/Motormaster mold.
