I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they brought in a new Technobot that somehow uses the DragStrip mold.
Just wait for them to do the Combaticons, turn BlastOff into a drone based on the FireFlight mode and then reveal they actually replaced Vortex for a new character from Air Raid, just to see the reaction.
Thankfully, Blight was able to stay with his team for the G1-homaged Prime Abominus combiner.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Editor wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I could see Hasbro replacing Lightspeed for a new Technobot since he always struck me as being the least "techno"/futuristic of the Technobots. Funnily enough, remember the Kre-O Combiners and how some members were separated and put in the blind bags? These are them:
- Quickslinger
- Brake-Neck
- Groove
- Nosecone
- Rampage
- Blight
- Blast Off
Seeing a pattern?

Really LOOSE?
No, mine was fine. Maybe yours has been turning tricks?
Well, that'll happen when Dead End is laying down pipe all day.

That Bot wrote:As for the list of characters excluded from the Kre-O sets, I find that interesting. I wonder what the reasoning was behind leaving out those particular characters and if it's the same reasoning being applied to Combiner Wars.

Please don't release a Kre-o Alpha Bravo, or I'll have to find a way to shoehorn him in as well.

Rescue Bots Chase (original toy, the cartoon model removed it from his forehead badge).albnok wrote:RAcast wrote:Sabrblade wrote:ROOK SMASH!

Interesting that he has the Autobot insignia on his forehead. How many other Transformers have insignias on their head? The only one that comes to mind is Beast Wars Rhinox, with the Maximal insignia.

haha, "Rook Punch!" - Defensor's fatality move.
Bit of a backpack there - but I like the implications of that - easy to retool as you only have to replace that one piece and you've got a whole new vehicle... even add a tank turret perhaps?
