Cyclonus is proof of that, but I can't wait to see what Scattershot looks like. (He's a no brainer when it comes to the Silverbolt mold. I just hope he's a bit more remolded to differentiate from both Silverbolt and Cyclonus.)

Now, it has been a long time and I am going entirely off of memory, but G1 Scattershot has that 3rd mode nose cannon thing going on, right?
Think there is any way to repurpose this mold to incorporate that or am I just being crazy?

It could work, but those third modes are dropped, so I don't see it happening for a possible Scattershot.

Well, the wings fold back for transformation. Just turn the jet mode over, fold the wings back to make the legs, and the nose/barrel points up. The head is hidden so it doesn't matter if the robot chest shows. You probably won't be able to split the nose like on the original Scattershot, though.

I hope they at least give us the nose split, I mean I find it unlikely as you have said, but I don't think it would be too much to ask. Or at least make the sci-fi jet mode have a big "ramjet" intake on the front so that it can look like a cannon if you want... I am super out of the loop, regarding like the non shown stuff for Combiner Wars, what has been confirmed to be coming down the pipes? As I understand it, at present, the Silverbolt mode is being used for SIlverbolt, Cyclonus and Scattershot? The Motormaster mold is Motormaster and Optimus prime, but will every voyager get a third one as well?

According to a recent interview with Hisashi Yuki, the base mode for Silverbolt was deliberately excised for his Combiner Wars toy.

I imagine the same is the case for all of the torso bots.

Hasbro Toy Shop has updated their listings and made available Combiner Wars wave 2 for preorder. Currently, some of the figures have already pre-sold out, such as G1 Leader Class Megatron and Legends Class Blackjack, but most of wave 2 is still available at this time.

The Legends Class, Voyager Class Menasor and Leader Class Armada Megatron (as well as the G1) ship within 5-7 business days, while the limbs/Deluxes will begin shipping on March 27th. (It should be noted that that is an estimate and HTS has been known to ship items sooner than the expected date. It's not guaranteed we'll see them sooner, but there's at least a chance.)

Don't, that's a great idea! Looks like you could even give him a unicycle leg, too! More likely he'll be repainted as someone obscure like [url=http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Override_(G1)]Override.

I think after Chromia there shouldn't be any problem with Afterburner being a deluxe. If they can pass him off as a two wheeled car we'll be fine.

I don't really understand why people thing Scattershot would work from the Silverbolt mold. Because they're both flying combiner torsos? Scattershot has a very unique transformation by a quarter rotation of his torso. I think we'd miss out on a great new figure with a neat transformation if he was just a remold of a guy that doesn't transform remotely the same way.

What if you put Motormaster voyager and all the deluxes into ONE order? Will the shipment of figures:
A) Be split into separate shipments, sending Motormaster in 5-7 days, while putting off delivery on the Deluxes until 3/27-ish?

B) Hold everything until 3/27-ish, since it's one order, and you'll have to wait for ALL of them to be delivered once they are all available?

It's too bad we don't get base modes anymore. A lot of them were rather vague, granted, but they help add some extra variety.
