I would dig a Fire Convoy/Super Fire Convoy retool of Hotspot/Defensor. Particularly if they paint it in the colours of my All-Yellow version. God damn, thinking of that toy makes me wanna visit home and dig it out of storage.

Unless there's a Deluxe Afterburner coming for Computron, since Afterburner's a sci-fi cycle, and which Takara could use for a Deluxe Unite Warriors Groove.

Yep. It's also a character that already has two previous, much better renditions of the character available, so I'm not gonna lose sleep, but did they seriously not have any other tank character they could have redecoed it into.

Hell, it might have made a nifty non-Pretender shell Bludgeon, now that I think of it. He even took his tank cannon off to use as a weapon so he's already a better fit.

On the upside, they can use this Warpath to make into Treds, and it would work since Treds' original GoBot body didn't have a chest cannon like Warpath had, so no loss for him.

After all, now we have enough of the right Legends molds that can be turned into all six G1 GoBots:
Bumblebee -- Bug Bite
Cosmos -- Path Finder
Powerglide -- Bad Boy
Gears -- Small Foot
Huffer -- Road Ranger
Warpath -- Treds

I'm just happy to see they've integrated the former Scout and Legends lines Into a size class I feel compelled to collect. I don't necessarily care that Watpath doesn't have a chest cannon - what's more important to me is Hasbro's willingness to make the most of this size class.

Man I would hate to be Hot Spot. His fire truck mode is awesome, but the ladder is just wrong. How many faces do you see on a ladder in fire trucks in reality? None! Why Hasbro? Why?
Now I'm scared about the new Autobot combiner. :-s

People are worrying about nothing. Defensor's face flips down in vehicle mode so it's hidden. Also does the same in Hot Spot's robot mode.

There's another official image (don't have it on hand right now) showing that the face is hidden.
