These new cards have inspired me to do THIS. I have a file cabinet for all card backs, instructions, and anything else like stickers, collector cards, etc.
Thought I might get some of those baseball card sleeves and a binder.

I'm gonna get all orgamanized like Sgt. Angle here. ;)

Yarb.
Step one: get a binder and sheets.
Step two: put your stuff in said binders and sheets.
Step three: grab a pint and/or Cornetto.
Step four: kick back and watch Bad Boys 2 or Point Blank.

Hows that for a slice of fried gold.

I started a binder with plastic sleeves recently. Have a lot of items to add into it... Just been adding ones from recent.

Ok so I REALLY don't get why G1 fans are dogging Superion so much. Seriously this guy made me have flash backs of memories from the 80's. Alpha Bravo sure, whatever he wasn't original, but WOW fantastic!

I still have my sky dive from my child hood... Looking at jet mode, WOW! (My family was rather poor so I only got to get one as a kid...)

I did keep the legs extended on the bottom which makes him MUCH more proportioned and well... I am going to have to photograph him tomorrow next to my ROTF Combiners... Because he DWARFS them... Its insane how tall this guy is when his legs are out... I can see why Hasbro has them folded in... But the sheer height it gives him REALLY adds to the insanity... :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

I will say my ***only compliant has and still is the dang feet are terrible... I must make a kit bash for them because there has to be more than these foot/hand missiles... :michaelbay: :BANG_HEAD:

I seriously can't wait till Wave 2 comes out, and I can get them... (Hopefully soon I just got another dang coupon!)

When you talk about legs extended are you going on about sky dive or alpha Bravo?

Really any of them can keep their "legs" extended in the combined mode from just transforming each of them. Ill see if I can get some pictures tomorrow.

Either route with them folded in he still does look pretty decent, but a little on the side of "ape arms." :-?

We have recently seen in-hand shots of Combiner Wars Leader Class Megatron, but now we can see him with his additional Autobot sticker set! Thanks to Twitter user Manuel @RodimusPrime87 we finally get to see his recent IDW interpretation in action. Also included are stickers to give him the iconic swirl details inspired by his G1 counterpart. Down below are the pics, check them out!

Menasor looks a lot better when the legs are displayed as below. Now just a case of whether I want him to have the chest open, or closed. I'm thinking closed at the moment, looks a lot less top heavy. Would like to see another pic of him like this with Blackjack in there, but so far I've not been keen on how Blackjack looks sitting in there.

Question about those legs: to the hip joints still work with the legs displayed like that?

This could well put the Stunticon set back on my to-buy list; the "birthing hips" from the earlier pics really killed it for me.

I just tried it with Prime. Actually they are less impeded that when in the intended mode.

Also, I just realized the plates that fold up from the lower leg are different sculpts between OP and MM.

Why don't you get the comics? I was under the impression that Wave 1 deluxes only have cards, then Wave 2 deluxes onwards would have comics. Or do some countries specifically get only cards even in Wave 2/3 deluxes?

Do your Hasbro IDW releases also come without comics? I'm in Malaysia and our Hasbro IDW deluxe releases all have comics while the TakaraTomy ones don't (but in the case of Legends LG10 Arcee, the instructions have a tiny Japanese 2-page comic.)

My Prime was a little more unstable without the stock pegging configuration. But I definitely like the look better...

I just got Silverbolt and man am I impressed. I don't like the Alpha Bravo mold from what I saw of it but all of the other 3 Arialbots look fantastic. The quality of the Silverbolt figure makes me want to get the whole line, if they all meet or exceed this quality. What's the overall consensus?

Also is anyone else having trouble finding these in Toronto? I missed out on the Grey one with the orange face because I didn't have money handy but I haven't found much of the line save Silverbolt since.

You can do anything with Optimus Prime's legs when forming Ultra Prime:

The narrow hips is much like almost every third-party combiner, which I don't like because they tend to have Voyager-class hips.

That said, Superion is far, far more stable and poseable in default configuration, despite lacking waist rotation.

I dont get the comics because we have laws that forbid products to be sold unless there is a french translation. That also means they can never have the platinum editions in store and that I cant order them from their website either. I have asked many times and keep getting this same response:

we do not have a French version available at this time. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to ship English language toys to addresses in the province of Quebec if we do not have a French version available, per the terms of Quebec's Charter of the French Language. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Sadly it isn't Canada, just Quebec. I've been in Toronto since August but I lived in Quebec for my whole life. It really sucks and the OQLF have been getting really uppity about **** online recently. That being said, they can only target online stores that also have physical locations in Quebec. Have you tried ordering from bigbadtoystore.com?

Thanks for the heads-up, Albnok!

As for stability, I'll probably be able to make do by improvising on how I pose Menasor. He'll be strictly for display in an enclosed glass shelf--I can lean him against the glass a little for support if necessary.

I just wanted to let the person from malaysia know why I wouldnt get the comics if they ever made them and it tied into the other stuff about language laws. Do canadians outside quebec get comics?

Anyways, I found ways to get what I wanted but ordering from BBTS or other stores like that take ends up being costly due to shipping, exchange rates and customs fees. The figure rarely ends up being worth what you pay for int he end.

Anyways, thats why I liked the trading cards, for once I got somethign extra. And it looks like there is french on Devastator's box so all will be well this year.

Oh to be clear, Menasor/Ultra Prime is stable - he just isn't as easy to pose as Superion is. On Optimus Prime, hip joints are really tight in the "roll" axis, and in the standard bow-legged position, they don't point truly downwards - the click joints either click around 5 degrees too wide or too narrow. The waist panels that fold onto the waist joint also aren't that easy to peg in and lock.

He's stable enough standing straight, but posing him, with the hip's click joints, can be really annoying if you try to bring the thighs up ("pitch" on the waist joint), with the waist panels possibly coming loose. Nowhere near Generations Blitzwing's shoulder bug, but nowhere as tight as the rest of the figure.

The videos seem to say Motormaster's better at the hip joints, though.

I'd have preferred that Optimus' thighs split by using two levers quite like Combiner Wars Megatron's backpack; it would keep the straightness of the legs.
