This is one of the best looking Powerglide's I have seen in a long time. I am reflecting a lot on the three Ultra class figures that come out several years ago Onslaught, Silverbolt and Powerglide. I think Powerglide is the only one who really compares well to those older incarnations.
aside from maybe need some ankle joints (to pivot and whatnot) i dont see him needing much to upgrade.Rated X wrote:Kind of funky looking. Hopefully a 3rd party can come and save this guy.
why is jet kibble on a figure made of five jets a bad thing?Rated X wrote:He looks good. But they could have been more creative to get rid of the jet engines on the legs in robot mode. If Jizai was able to do it, why couldn't Hasbro ?

Looks excellently well balanced and articulated, wish we could've gotten some knee action there, with the actual joints. And I'm really hoping Silverbolt's elbows are tight for the way that they combine.welcometothedarksyde wrote:As a side note I wonder if the club is going to run with all these new molds and create a new combiner

That comment was made on the Legends Powerglide thread and has nothing to do with Superion.
Ive said this before and Ill say it again...
Death to thread merging !!!

glad to have you aboard.deception wrote:Extremely ugly. Yeah, believe me, it is.
Erm, no, putting the legs on backwards does sacrifice the knee joints because they can't bend when backwards. Blacklai's using Silverbolt's elbows in Superion's thighs to simulate knees for this backwards configuration, which leaves Superion with new teeny tiny thighs and super long lower legs.Twitchythe3rd wrote:I think the legs look better with the nosecones in front, but it's nice to know you have the option of G1 accuracy without completely sacrificing the knee joint.
