Aw, you don't wanna play around with the combiner and give it a quadrupedal mode?Delta Magnus wrote:He looks pretty good, although I still think that hand module is way too big. They could have shrunk it a bit, removed the foot function (at the end of the day the team only needs 2 hands and 2 feet which can be swapped around between members depending on the configuration)

I also note they only gave him 4 wheels. I understand why that was for the Mirage redeco, but g1 version having 6 wheels was just so weird that it somehow added to the character in some weird way. Not a complaint, mind you, just an observation.
Sabrblade wrote:Which isn't saying much, considering how few toys Drag Strip has ever had.OptimalOptimus2 wrote:The best Dragstrip since Transformers: Generation 1!
But I would argue that the Universe "Special Edition" redeco of Classics Mirage was a better Drag Strip toy than G1 Drag Strip on account of the Classics Mirage mold being an awesome figure in and of itself.

They are also more than likely designed to only have the knee bend in one direction. That would mean that turning them around to be more G1 accurate would also reverse the knee itself.Shuttershock wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Did anybody notice on the Superion schematic the legs are reversed? The cockpits are supposed to be in the back for G1 accuracy.
You can probably still reverse them for an accurate figure. I kind of like having the cockpits in front, forming a knee spike and not getting in the way of the leg bend.
Gotta agree with that, the crying blood look is awesome!megatronus wrote:Dragstrip's head sculpt is delightfully sinister.

Delta Magnus wrote:That is a surprisingly cool idea. Honestly though I think the hands and feet could have been executed better in general (although Superion does it much better I will admit). I'm sure a 3P company or someone on ShapeWays will come up with replacements though.

Don't all modern f-1 cars have four wheels? As has been said it's something kids will recognise.
