@SYG
I'm with you. Out of the three, the SDCC version is my favourite. Remolded elbows are dope, but if I'm just being honest with myself I can admit that at the end of the day they'll be Combined 97% of the time, so added articulation in the individual bots is kinda moot.

However, I'll be getting TT's because he'll be cheaper than the aftermarket price of SDCC's. *shrug*

I'm going to try to get him from HTS, I know it's going to be a crap shoot but I have faith that with the dwindling admiration of it I'll have a semi decent chance at grabbing one.

I'm with Shajaki, although I personally think the TT version is the best looking. I was considering taking the easy route and just buying the hasbro version, but after seeing all the cool stuff takara's comes with, (like the guns that will be lended to other figures in need) I might just go for the high end. The only thing is, how much do you reckon the behemoth will be with shipping? I imagine he's gonna be pricy, despite being less than the SDCC aftermarket.

I am really glad the SDCC version is getting some love, it means the toy has a market out there and that is always a great thing. Toys needs homes :)

Just a heads up though to those who say that the reason why Takara's is not benefitting to the combined mode, Takara does have a retractable visor which makes you able to alternate between the standard look from the Hasbro retail version, and the look from the SDCC version.

ALSO, here is a post I found on Talk Transformers facebook for the australians out there:

BEWARE OF THIS SCALPER ON EBAY!
---------------------------------------------------
Devastator came out in Australian Big W stores on Thursday and was instantly sold out. This low-life managed to buy EIGHT of them and is attempting to scalp seven of them for AU$330 each (even though he only paid AU$200 each). I strongly advise that you do _NOT_ purchase anything from him or any other scalper.
Remember that every time someone buys a toy at an inflated price from a scalper, you are supporting their despicable practice and encouraging them to do it again. Help fight scalpers by NOT buying from them and drive them out of business!
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/361329629645
I'm so glad I don't use eBay! smile emoticon But how funny would it be if nobody bought them, leaving him $1400 out of pocket (or forcing him to just sell them for $200 each :p)
BE PATIENT! Most stores _will_ restock. Big W's computer system indicates that most stores are waiting on an order for 8-12 units per store. Here is a list of Big W stores which are _NOT_ awaiting restock (so don't bother trying them):
Sunshine, VIC
Altona Meadows, VIC
Endeavour Hills, VIC
Parkmore (Keysborough), VIC
Forest Hill, VIC
South Yarra, VIC
Queen Vic Village (Melbourne CBD), VIC
Box Hill, VIC
Taigum, QLD
Bonnyrigg, NSW
Wetherill Park, NSW
Yeppoon, QLD
Golden Grove, SA
Chullora, NSW
Burleigh Heads, QLD
Townsville, QLD
Ballina, NSW
Phoenix Park, Perth WA
Katoomba, NSW
Armidale W End, NSW
Stafford, QLD
Hallet Cove, SA
Coffs Harbour, NSW
Campsie, NSW
Victor Harbour, SA
Neeta City, Fairfield NSW
Canberra City, ACT
Macarthur, ACT
Canberra Airport, ACT
Auburn (not sure if NSW and/or SA)

Being that I am very picky about prices, I will never let a Scalper win. From retain price, I rarely pay more than the actual brick-and-mortar cost. Like a voyager: Before tax it is $25. The most I have ever bought one was Brainstorm for $28. I will not be scalped. I just wish some people were are picky as I am about prices :BOT:

that Dick is also thanking sites like Ozformers for "advertising" for him

the arrogance of that ass....

Anyway, in other news, I received my phone call this morning, went into Big W and put him on lay-by. The temptation to by him outright was great, but then common sense kicked in. I need to pay rent before I buy toys.

Also, if scalpers keep buying up stuff, stores will order more stuff. So if everyone would be kind enough not to buy from mister scalperman and go to the store and ask for new stock or order directly from the stores for regular prices... We'll all push sales. Everybody wins.

That would be the best scenario, especially if the store gets more to fill your request.

It helps him form the upper chest/head of Devastator. Rather than developing a Prowl that combined with the Constructicons, they opted for Groove instead.
