Jetfire because of the hollow areas, but they don't look that bad on the constructicons. The hollow silver thighs can be overlooked and the other hollows look like they might be like that for transformation, which is acceptable. I'm not liking the black hands, though. Those suckers should be purple (and mine will be)

Not an apologist for Hasbro/Tomy. I too hated the non strategically located hollow parts of the arms. WT# were they thinking?!
But, even back in 1988, PM Optimus Prime had a lot of hollow parts too but you didn't notice them because they were hollowed out strategically. So not really surprising.
Just hope we all can manage to get him before the scalpers get to him.

I like your optimism!william-james88 wrote:I have a feeling this guy will have a much wider distribution than previous exclusives. Hasbro spent extra money making this guy eligible for international distribution with the translations, which hints at a much larger production number. I have a good feeling he'll be more available than even the stateside masterpiece releases have been.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Hey scale-nerds! Oh, wait a minute, that's ME!
If this official Combiner Wars Devastator is around a foot and a half and the other Combiner Wars Gestalts (Superion, Menasor, Defensor etc) are around a foot, this Devy is going to look a bit silly alongside his combining buddies!
For me, if these 'Voyager' figures had the usual sort of engineering we have come to expect, before Hasbro went the way of the 'Upscale', I may have bought this as a display piece whilst I wait for the regular sized Combiner Wars Devy, you know, the one that scales with the rest of the line!!!
Hasbro, Im on to your Devy game. Oh yes!

6 Voyager Class Constructicons, one bad bot. Eighteen inches of G1-deco devastation.

Kind of glad I waited and didn't spring for a 3rd party Devy. Just throwing it out there - do u think this Devy will hit Costcos? Was nice pickin up Metroplex for 80 bux.

It's true. It's really unfortunate that this is the area they had to choose to cut back on.shajaki wrote:ive been enjoying posable TF's (and combiners) since late G2 and BW. why would i except less in 2015? these guys dont look like much more than blown up legends figures.
