Nothing good about it whatsoever. I would rather have a broken head on my Brainstorm than this mold in its "perfected" form.
I disagree, I think its a fantastic mold and great improvement since it actually uses the shark head as the chest without using fake kibble like the original. The legs are super stable if you tab in the knees properly and I am impressed with how well he balances. This toy has flaws, sure (the Hasbro deco doesn’t help), but I dont get the complaint about its shell. It's a great improvement in terms of the shell over its original toy. What used to look like an amazon canopy in the back is now reduced to two small wings that can be rearranged any way that suits you.
I never cared for the original, but I bought the Generations one just because I am a completest. It might be an improvement on the older one, but if so, in my opinion that is like saying a fart is an improvement over raw sewage. I wanted to like it, but in the end I could not based on the ankle, knee, and arm joints. The shell might be an improvement, but its still a shell. So many other figures they could have chose from......like a Voyager Shockwave. FOC Shockwave works because that was its look in the comics, but why we haven't had a generations or even a classics style Shockwave is beyond me. Let alone four other dinobots.
I don't even remember this character from IDW. Is Skybyte even in the comics?
