As a big fan of the movie designs I’m a little disappointed in the straight-G1 looks of Soundwave and Prime, but overall I’m ok with it because the earth mode guys like Shatter, Dropkick, and Blitzwing all still have designs that incorporate well into the rest of the movieverse. I’m willing to accept that on Cybertron these guys looked diffferent and more like their G1 selves. I would’ve appreciated a little more movieverse influence on the designs (like Ravage having one eye), but it’s not the end of the world. Still really excited for the movie!

For 11 years, fans have whined and complained and pouted about the LACK of G1 influence apparent in the last 5 movies. And now, for the first time in cinema, we see a beautiful glimpse of G1 inspired live action transformers. And as FREAKING excited out of my MIND I am for this, HALF MY JOY IS KILLED JUST BY COMING DOWN HERE AND LOOKING AT ALL YOU PATHETIC, SELF-RIGHTEOUS I-WILL-NEVER-BE-HAPPY-WITH-ANYTHING-IN-MY-LIFE-ESPECIALLY-WITH-TRANSFORMERS people out there!!! But WITH that being said, I am thrilled out of my pants to see what a talented director and capable writers with the ORIGINAL Transformers in mind can do with such a clever idea like this. Bravo, Paramount, you have my attention.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Okay, that's enough. You can dislike the new film all you want (even if it's foolish to do so based only on a trailer and a teaser), but now you're going into personal insults and that will not be tolerated. Like it's been said, there are a lot of different types of fans who like different things in the franchise. Accept it and move on. No amount of whining will change what others like.Prowl4 wrote:Deadput wrote:Prowl4 wrote:The same heads hate Bay but are slurping up the girl actually naming bumblebee. It's dirt.
Like it makes any sense for his name to be Bumblebee in the first place.
Regardless if a concept or idea sounds bad the only thing hat matters is the execution of said idea.
You should probably have an open mind and see the movie first before proclaiming it to be dirt.

Sounds it, though I thought Cullen was reprising prime
Nexus Knight wrote:Hooooooooooly crap. I figgered this trailer would make MORE people happy, not piss a different group. I actively find this hilarious. Of course there are G1 redesigned. This is the same reason Thr Force Awakens mirrored A New Hope, I think. The old stuff made the fandom mad, thus the new director is showing us he does care by giving us something familiar. Also, I do want to point out that we see these redesigns ON CYBERTRON. Not on Earth (except for Bumblebee). While this will most likely translate to Earth, it is ACTIVELY STUPID to call a movie dirt when your biggest gripe is the redesigns that could easily be explained away.
