Weapon: Air Rifle
Ugh, Bulkhead's pulling a BM Rattrap. He has no legs, just wheelie-mabobs.

Why are they determined to make tfs look like crap? It looks like Teen Titans, right down to the logo. But machines shouldn't looke like that, especially if they can transform...

Such crap unknown. We basically get Cybertron Prime, Classics Bumblebee, Cybertron Ransack and two colourful lumps.

Why not just recolour them and remold them slightly, and make em into Defensor?

Well we now know what it would look like if a retarded monkey was responseable for creating the transformers. I wonder what the toys will look like oh god no I don't.

Wow... If people sent death threats towards Michael Bay for the movie... I can't wait to see whats gonna happen with this.

My initial gut reaction is to vomit, but I'm still holding out.

wow they're going for a very organic look in this cartoon design. Hmm i can't say I totally hate it as .. it's very stylized, maybe the stories are going to be deeper and have more emotional deept So having such a design adds to the feeling.

I like Prowl and BB, Prime has improved over the other pic, Ratchet is ok but looks kind of fat in robot mode, the only one I really don't like is the incredible hulk and Cybertron Crumplezones lovechild...
I guess I could learn to live with the animation IF the writing was good, but the fact that they all have emergency sirens looks like a bad omen to me.

EDIT: after reading the other thread with the plot synopsis It seems the bad omen was right. I probably won't watch this.

I thought the last images burned by eyes, this burns me to my very soul... "Shock and Awe" just got a new meaning, and we're the unfortunate souls that have to endure it...

Look. Would you rather have a highly-detailed and poorly animated show? Or a highly stylized and well-animated show.

I myself am an animator, and speaking from that standpoint, I gotta tell ya. These designs are actually pretty f*cking cool. I so kinda wish Prowl was a police-cruiser still but hey, whatever. Bring it on.

Despite how they try to convey Bulkhead being the muscles of the group, and larger than Optimus Prime, they still share the same transformation.

Expect both toys to be repaints of each other.

oh no, its the movie allover again why can't the war stop why the harsh words and the violence. Ha ha ha... I think it is posible for a toy line that converts. G1 toy looked nothing close to the show yet it still was popular. none of the movie toys look like the movie one and still look cool and are! god I wonder what aicn is like right now if anyone is still alive.

ive heard dozens of posts ( since the first pic appeared and still some now) asking 'how do these things transform'.

Am i really missing something here, from promo artwork on which the toys are based just how can one then assume that these will somehow be difficult to get to transform as toys. I mean these are pictures of the cartoon, not the toys, its would be as illogical (in hindsite) to look at gen 1 animation and say 'so just how does megatron become a tiny gun, how they gonna make a toy like that??' After seeing movie bonecrusher one could be forgiven for asking how does that become a jeep type vehicle, but of course by the miracle of modern toy engineering its a commonplace $9.99 item. It doesnt take a huge leap of imagination to picture how bumblebee might transform from the pictures.

I've seen Samurai Champloo and isn't wasn't THAT well animated. It's incredibly limited with only a couple scenes that they blow their entire budget on. But besides that you have a good point.

Also, the style on this new transformers cartoon is very much like Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, who designed Hellboy:Animated as well as the new Spider-Man cartoon that's coming out on the WB soon. This style is ALL the rage right now because it has a lot of emphasis on dynamic curves and it really catches the kids attention.

I guess you could say that if you like the Hellboy cartoons they've put out then you'll probably like this.

Other than that, it's just a matter of opinion. I'm honestly not seeing the problem though.

Notice that none of them are carrying any weapons. (Except for Prowl's throwing star.)

That does not give me any hope. "Kid Friendly"

Not a good sign.

There is no hope, no hope, no hope at all.

Bumblebee looks pretty good though.
