The first set came out in early June. If people want, I'll scan my set of them in. It'll take lots of bandwidth, though.

I have Barricade from the first set.
Do you have all the others?
Can someone post a pic of Transmetal 2 Cheetor so I know what it looks like?

OK, I see the back legs and tail, the front looks all clumped up to me, on the card.

It doesn't look any better in person. I think they took a low res pic and blew it up for their catalogue. The general concensus here (in the store) is that it is TM2 Cheetor.

Such a good idea.
That was so badly executed.
And yet it continues...

I made the mistake of buying a pack at Botcon. Now I'm addicted. Amazingly, two days ago I won off ebay a sealed box of 30 packs for $16. Will I be able to get a full set of 26 out of the box? I only have Swindle and protoform Bumblebee ATM.

I've wasted quite a bit of money on the movie set already.. yet to complete or get anywhere near completing it.. its a fun game but its so simple and no strat that is makes it worthless in the end.. OMG MOM!! Rocks, Paper Sissors!!!
best way to play is to only use the cards themselves and then your toys as pieces. alot more fun.

That's why instead of buying these card packs, I bought Robot Heroes and made an RPG with them that uses d6s, d20s, and a standard deck of playing cards.

Well, I did say before that if something more G1-ish came out of this set, I'd be more tempted to buy them. I'll probably just buy a pack or two and see if they grab my attention or not.

Cool! That sounds really interesting. Would you mind posting the rules for it?

I'll be sure to do that. I'm actually still refining them here and there, trying to remove exploits and make sure that they are fair. When it's done, you can bet I'll post them for everyone to enjoy!

I picked up some of these as a larf as I don't care about card games, and I gotta say they're pretty cool.
Plus the little Autobot/Decepticon slider dealies make great little bookmarks.
But what I realy like is what happens when you peg one with a rubber band!
