Following the trend of recent years, they'll probably be available on Hasbro Toy Shop on a random day after the con. The listings will go up in the middle of the night and they'll all be gone by morning before any normal person has a chance to order them.

Thanks man! I am a fan of badass fembot repaints! I think it is cool that these characters are in the comics.

I never said that. Stop strawmanning. I wasn't saying that strong female characters are bad (there's a reason one of my favourite movies is Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind). What I was saying is that badly written strong female characters are bad. Characters whose only defining feature is being a "strong independent woman who don't need no man" and who can't stop telling us about this/how weak and puny male characters are (see: just about every Tumblr comic ever). I like the idea of 3 fembots hunting down rampaging, monstrous metallic behemoths just as much as the next person, which is why I really, REALLY don't want IDW to screw it up.

Now granted I haven't read very much of the IDW comics and have heard lots of good things about them, but I have also heard lots of bad things about them, and given some of its fans (*cough* Walky *cough*) I can't say I'm not a little bit worried about the series descending into SJW circlejerk territory. I've seen it happen to other series and I don't want to see it happen to this one.

Well. Definitely want this set. Unlike most I like the Wndblade mould, even with its flaws, and the decos on all three are amazing

I don't think Devastator is worth it, but this Combiner Hunters set definitely is! =)

What I'm really surprised to see from these two sets is the closer relation that Hasbro has to IDW, compared to previous years.

I mean, the Knights of Unicron set was fun, but had no connection to the fictions, or the franchise in general other than some fun references and conflation of 80s properties and trends.

Both of these sets, on the other hand, feature prominently in the comics, be it due to Hasbro deciding on the figures first, or the evolving Barber/Roberts/Scott storylines. It's ..really quite cool.

I am actually planning on getting the retail version of Devastator instead of this version, mainly because of the price, but also because I like the retail version's headsculpt better. For me, Devastator needs a visor.

This set on the other hand, will go great with the retail Devastator!

Dear... come back and tell me how men are supposed to be tough after you push out a 9 pound baby, who went into the birth canal at an odd angle, without any pain killers. (Then get up and walk around an hour later)

Then we'll talk about women being tough.


On topic, however... I like Arcee's color. The weapons though... it's just too big. The box art looks fantastic.
