Closest we're getting is a reissue of MP Grimlock.
Also, aren't the G1 Dinobot molds lost/destroyed/in the same ambiguity limbo as Shockwave, Wheeljack, and Sunstreaker?

Well, I think Hasbro just made us all their collective bitch.
I still stand by my post from yesterday though. Those one step things would've pissed me off as a child except for that Grimlock. They've done both simple transformations and one step Transformers better in the past.
Skybyte - Awesome Roadbuster - AWESOME! Wingblade - looks kind of flimsy, but I think the looks pretty good Legends: AWESOME! Jhiaxus - Poorly painted prototype, but if he keeps those colours, he should be pretty good Jetfire - AWESOME!!!!!! AOE Dinobots - I may get them and display them in my office or something. They're not what I want in my main collection, but interesting enough to warrant a further look AOE Generations - Some look decent some look hideous. I don't think any of them will get on my shelves.

That's true, although they did reissue Devastator when his mould was supposed to have been missing.
They made an all new set of molds for him, since Encore Devastator has copyright stamps from Tomy only without any of the copyright stamps from Hasbro and Takara that the original molds had.

Wow, I didn't realise they did that. Although it raises the question, if they can do that with Devastator then theoretically they can do the same with any TF?
Some decent deluxes from AoE! Want all of them! And what to say about that roadbuster, except:
and Skybyte deserves a too! Lots of cool stuff here to expect, but as for grimlock, I am still on the fence. the trex mode is awesome, but I feel the robot mode is a lackluster...
two-headed pteranodon for swoop? cool idea!
so yeah, hasbro still will have some of my money this year...
Lots of good stuff here. Glad the Generations AoE figures look waaaaaay better than the other stuff we've seen so far.
Seriously though, FOUR different giant Grimlock figures?
That's way too many. And it's confusing as heck, since I can't tell which one is supposed to be in which line (maybe one of them's a Voyager? I can't really tell the scale in some of these pics).
It would really annoy me if we have all these huge Grimlocks and no leader figure is made for that black Decepticon truck (looks like they only have a voyager figure for him so far).
Optimus Prime: Freedom is the right of all sentient beings!
New combatants into the thirtieth anniversary fray include Legends Acid Storm with Venin (redecos of the earlier Starscream with Waspinator, respectively), Gears with Eclipse (retool and redeco of the soon-to-be-released Swerve and what might be a redeco of Swerve's partner Flanker), Skrapnel and Reflector; Deluxes Jhiaxus (retool and redeco of Armada Starscream), Windblade, Crosscut, Rattrap and Beast Machines Tankor; Voyagers Roadbuster and Sky-Byte; Leader Jetfire; and finally, to amp up the dino-tude, an apparent reissue of Masterpiece Grimlock!
Also included is a three-minute video provided by fellow staffer El Duque:
...as well as a video showing off Masterpiece Grimlock and the two Platinum releases, "Year of the Horse" Optimus Prime and Starscream:
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

Yep, he's getting rereleased, and looks to be similar to the TakaraTomy Asian exclusive version.

Thank God some AOE figures I can accept. I really like the different colors the dinobots have. Generations line keeps looking good and I suppose those new legends class figures means its not being cancelled. Or is it just Swerve and Cosmos?
