You want to give us a remold of an already crap figure?
**** you Hasbro.

I can't hold your comments against you. You're 100% accurate. They know we want it, they saw how well the Classics version sold only AFTER FP started offering their add-on kit. The ball was in their court and they've dropped it (for now).
I still fully expect Takara to do one right in the MP line, using MP-10 in white which combines with a new trailer.

That we'd flip out, go nuts, and buy the crap out of this fella.
Obviously, it didn't work too well.

Well, given that the Optimus version didn't sell super well, why use this mold for the Platinum edition? I mean, sure, go ahead and use it for Beast Hunters line, but BH =/= Classics.

That is where you're wrong, RAcast. The Classics line and it's spawns were not to strictly cover G1. They've made toys for other continuities as well. And the Generations line, a Classics spawn, is continuing the tradition. This Ultra Magnus is for the Prime portion of Generations. So Beast Hunters can = Classics, just as Beast Wars, Cybertron, and Animated, Armada, and beyond have in the past.

The BH voyager will have the Forge as well.
Unless Hasbro dupes us again!

But....this one's the scale accurate Forge! The Voyager's Forge is small.

Size doesn't matter. 'cause at the end of the day, UM's joints will probably be dodgy as heck and he won't be able to handle it.
See what I did there?

He definitely can't deal with a weapon that size right now. It's as big as the RID Magnus' hammer.

Magnus can never deal with anything.
But in all seriousness, the Forge in the show is huge, and I assume Platinum Edition Magnus' hammer will go nicely with the Voyagers and Deluxes. That's the only reason I want this guy. I'll have to wait and see how the other Forge scales, but so far I'm impressed with this one.

It was Coke and I got it from the Newsagent across the road.
And it actually worked a little.
Come on Hasbro, you're ramping things up for the 30th Anniversary, give us a white cab (that has it's own robot mode) that combines with its trailer!
