And just whose posts were you reading, exactly? Most of us who watched all of the first 13 episodes have given the show a Thumbs Up. The majority of the naysayers were those who only watched the first one or two episodes.Ironhidensh wrote:Well, I was thinking about givng this series a try, then I read through this thread a bit. Yes, I know. The positive reviews are what turned me off. I'm selective in my tv tastes, and this show, while it may be good, is not something I'd enjoy. As said, I will start recording it for my boys.

I get the feeling that it might have been something the toy designers came up with that the animators didn't.Lockdownhunter wrote:By the way,why doesn't Steeljaw use his three bladed claw weapon?

Who's "positive review" referred to it as a "kiddie show"?
Also, why do you have to watch TV shows? What exactly is on the line that it makes it a requirement? Because I've certainly never watched television out of necessity.

I have them on my dvr. They are the shows I would rather watch if/when I have the mythical thing called "free time". Nobody is forcing me to do a damned thing. I'm a grown-ass man, and I can do whatever the hell I want as long as my wife gives me permission.
"Kiddie show" is how I have interpreted all discriptions. If that disappoints you or hurts your feelings, well, I'm not sorry and I don't feel bad, but I'm willing to fake that if it puts a smile on your face, sunshine.

Unlike what others thought, I was not too thrilled with his voice. Quite annoying and whiny. I know thats the point, but it doesnt make it any more enjoyable to hear.

First off, pop a chill pill before you pop a blood vessel.
Second, if being a kid's show bothers you, you should probably get off this site dedicated to kid's shows.
Third, I do like how you're trying to change the context of "the other shows I have to watch." I mean, I already know you're making up points to try and justify a book by it's cover, but really...

Kinda like when you made up your mind about Beware the Batman before watching it, simply based on promo material?
Or are you the only one who is allowed to do that?

As for his voice, ever watch Dexter's Laboratory?

No, but then again, I don't expect you to have understood the actually very legitimate reasons I didn't like the show.
The key difference here is that I didn't reject the show because I thought I understood the overall tone of it based off of positive reviews a forum. I rejected it because the art style was godawful, they knowingly declined to use the best characters of the franchise, and those they did use were so heavily altered they ended up unrecognizable at best. (Anarky, for instance, was never actually on the show) The episodes I did watch (And I told you I watched it) I couldn't stand.
I rejected the show because they **** up Batman and bragged about it.
But it doesn't shock me you can't tell the difference.

Yeah, is he Dexter? Also, was he supposed to be a worm? His face looked like a killer whale to me.
I was really surprised with his transformation, I doubt they could make a decent toy with him since both modes looked way too different to result in one another in the simple transformation hasbro wants with these toys.
