A Transformer named Spastic certainly did not leave UK Transformers fans ecstatic. A few months ago, a Power Core Combiners Five-Pack was revealed to have the name 'Spastic', and controversy ensued - likely the first non-movie Transformers news to hit newspapers in quite sometime. Hasbro responded back to Seibertron.com stating that 'the toy will not be released in the UK', despite that, the toy's release around the rest of the world will be going by another name - Over-Run with Stunticons. The change can also be contributed to the fact that some UK chains have imported Power Core Combiners from North America. The name Over-Run hasn't been used since Armada/Universe, and this PCC Commander certainly does not homage the name's past.

On to the toy, Over-Run is an orange and purple repaint of Leadfoot. His drones are repaints, composed of a mix and match of Rallybots and Destructicons. Links lead to Seibertron.com's galleries of these figures. Check out Over-Run's packaging in the images below!

Think it'll be an entirely new box, or just a sticker over the original name? It wouldn't be the first time; G2 cards showing Sky-Scorcher Afterburner on the back slapped that name over his original, "Snipe".

You're spot on with that, I can see the outline of a sticker on the front and the back of the box. That'll be a lot of stickers :shock:

I'll be getting him no matter the name, and call him George... no wait, Drag Strip :oops:

like the how on package for comboiner mode looks much better the toy itself

you could paint the core figure red and call him "tomatotron" and i still wouldnt get him. Leadfoot is ok, and is not worth the hype he's been getting. The torso form for this Leadfoot/Over-run mold is nothing special and the drones look stupid.

the PCC line has been very "meh" for me, with every figure i've picekd up from it. I may get icepick, but beyond that, i'm done with PCC

Hasbro are just going out of their way to avoid offending anyone; something that the board members tossing around descriptors such as 'retarded' and 'gay' could possibly learn from...

On topic, I wonder if they'll do another 5-pack in the same wave - using the remaining drones?

Who would the core figure be though, Icepick or Sledge?

Given that the 5-pack wave consists of one new figure, I assume that'll be the final one. The last 2 waves of 2-packs will have 2 new figures each instead of 3.

For a moment there, I thought there was going to be a slew of up-coming Stunticon homages in the PCC line.
Definitely want to get him to go with Scouts Breakdown and Dead End.

I kinda doubt this is the last of the PCCs. Leadfoot was gang-molded with Pinpoint, meaning there should be a purple Pinpoint redeco. Same with Chainclaw and Icepick; Chainclaw got a red redeco, so there is probably a red Icepick redeco.

My cousin's nephew's roommate's uncle's barber's bookie dropped dead after running too far one day, so I find the name Over-Run HIGHLY OFFENSIVE. And since it's offensive to me, no one should be allowed to use it, even if it's not offensive to anyone else, am I rite?

The sarcasm is just dripping from it. Thing is, "Spastic" is a commonly used word, and "Over-Run" isn't.
