I think we will get a predaking or Abominus eventually simply because its inevitable and they are in this G1 craze. I just didnt think the 3rd part was beast themed and its confirmed not to be.

It's largely because the only remaining combiners are beasts, and certain fan-favourite significant characters from G1 - ie the Dinobots - haven't really been done yet, a weird Platinum boxset or two and a couple Grimlock attempts aside.
Not to mention that most of the Decepticons left are beasts, and a lot of people want more Beast Wars... it's not hard to see a lot of that lumped into one line. It's more just a lot of things that haven't been done yet are inevitable that some would see as making sense to be under one banner.

If anyone wanting UW-07 Bruticus feel like you missed out, this may be your chance...looks like BBTS has a small stock back in (4 to be exact) as of this writing. I just happened to get one from a Japanese Seller on Amazon a couple months back for a little less than the $135 BBTS is asking, but most eBay sellers are asking more, so this may be a good opportunity for someone interested.

I understand. On this very forum I thought I had that problem solved. But I had to cancel my pre-order of Lynx Master. Thankfully it looks like there are plenty to go around. So hopefully if its still readily available come February I'll get it.

In the past 2 months I only saw one person selling a UW Ratchet separately, and it went for over $100 by itself! Not worth it, I'll just get the whole UW set for a little more, and since I already have Smokescreen set aside for another combiner I'm building I'll be set. I also saw one 2016 Botcon build-a-figure already painted/stickered Ratchet go for around $100. I'd be happy with either one if I could get them for a decent price. There is a MIP unpainted Ratchet on eBay there now for like $300...! People are crazy.

I can honestly say I pretty much prefer all the UW versions. I do have CW Menasor and Defensor (with Deluxe Groove), which aside from some paint apps aren't really that different from their UW counterparts, and only because I found good deals on them.

Thats a different thing. Thats a botcon exclusive custom class ratchet. It is very limited in number and is the only north american release of that figure and comes with different things like an exclsuive HFG. Its a different market alltogether, you cant really compare the two.

I am thinking now and if KO companies really wanted a sure win, they could make a KO of CW/UW ratchet (not that I encourage KOs).

Once I obtain one, I will not pursue the other. Also for the record, if Seibertron.com ever does galleries for Lynx Master or the BC 2016 build-a-figure. I'd love to see comparison shots of both Ratchet's side-by-side

I was thinking more along the lines of:

- Fire-themed Ratchet
- Alpha Bravo
- Yellow Nosecone

Again, no water-themed mold available. ARGH! This is where I look at 3P, and only then.

That's pretty neat. I wonder if the labels would still work for the First Aid mold? If so I might pick up a cheap one...somewhere, and repaint him into Smolder. Not today, but some day.

Well, that's one optional paint scheme. There were five choices for the figure this year: Marvel G1, Cartoon G1, G2, Shattered Glass, and Medix.

So...any word on Megatronia yet? I know traditionally it would have been released the last weekend of December 2016, however I know it was pushed out to January...but is it early/mid/end of January? I'm not on facebook so other than searching online, I don't know if there have been any updates on social media lately.

So given that I might be getting a replacement Nosecone from TFS Express (might be, I hope) I've had an idea for my Computron.

I don't feel particularly good about the idea of selling him because simply put I don't want to inflict him upon anyone else. However, if as and when I get a replacement Nosecone, I intend to enjoy the living slag out of him for the remainder of his (probably short) life. So I'm thinking about taking my other CW limb figures (sans Rook because he's too cool for conversions) and making them into "auxillary" Technobots via Shapeways/scratchbuilding and the like (plus of copurse a nice coat of paint from the airbrush I have coming in the mail) making a very personalized "ultimate" Computron with a switchable retinue (at least until I can get a Quantron or something similar).

I have an Alpha Bravo, a Dragstrip and a Firefly I could convert, and some of the CW Legends are shelfwarming in my local toy store. I don't particularly want to buy any more Deluxes, but anyway, here's my ideas...

If there's still one there, I might buy a CW Groove and make it into a new, fembot character called Quark. IIRC that mold can make a pretty convincing gun mode for combiners to hold too, so Compy could be even more heavily armed.

Dragstrip I'm thinking could be either a Cybertronian hovercar (switch out wheels for thrusters/grav plates, add wings and techno-greeble) or possibly with a replacement front end a Crumplezone-style rocket trike. Colours I'm thinking could be primarily the stock yellow with the burgandy replaced with a more Technobot-y colour. As for the character and name, I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Firefly is getting made into some kind of 80s retro-futurist space plane...beyond that I'm not sure. Again, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The ports on one of the hands and on the drill armature were stupidly tight, to the point where attempting to remove the little hand-pistol-thing and the drill caused the pegs to just twist off with very little force.

Thin plastics + very tight peg holes. Bad combo alright. Y'all won't believe this but, straight from the box, 1 transform to bot mode, ever since the guys are in Computicon mode.
