the box art is better then the actually figures. Though devy was decent.

That's because TT uses more paint in those portraits than hasbro uses on the figures

not for me is that the reason, the could have all the paint apps they want, the figures are lackluster to me and very cheaply done. this line has nothing on the generations line or classics line. if we had that quality of a figure in the cw id feel it was worth the money to drop on takara or hasbros version. For me personally i dont see the value. My devy is decent, but mensor and the rest well ya...........

Well it's far from fair to compare menasor to any other combiner in the line, he's easily the weakest of the line - and the exception to boot.

well thats my imo, and honestly u really think that the indivdual bot modes are are soild and well done as generations or the classic line?
mensor is the weakest, defensor is pretty terrible too, he does look better then mensor, but thats like comparing 2 turds and having to pick which one u like most.
the whole line suffers for cheaper plastic and inflated prices for what u are getting.
But thats my IMO and as a consumer and collector for 15 yrs, i can see crap and call it for what it is, esp when u have seen and collected the products before hand. i respect u like the line, and im not dogging u or anyone that does, i just feel im not getting my moneys worth, other then devy in the line.
to each their own!
merry christmas and happy new year to all

I like him. Don't give a hoot what anyone else thinks.
Call me crazy (and this is a generalisation post, not aimed at anyone in particular) but I get the vibe from those who are pro-TT Devastator that they look down on those of us who are happy with Hasbros Devastator.
meh, whatever, my collection, like I said, don't give a hoot.

If there's isn't argument to understand, then why are you trying to?
Everyone has different experiences with figures. I have a Whirl that has to be left outside because he stinks so badly. I had to take a blade to UW Blades to transform him into robot mode because the tail fin was locked in place that hard if I'd used finger force I would have snapped it.
People vent about figures others don't have problems with, it happens. Everyone has a different opinion and experiences, you just have to learn to accept that, more so if you're going to be staff.

Certainly, but I haven't - and won't pay full price for them; the plastic doesn't feel the greatest, but many of them are solidly built (rook, dragstrip, prowl, breakdown, and all of the torso figures jump to mind for satisfactory figures) honestly thrilling 30 megs feels worse to me - and has thinner plastic than any of the cw figs, but I don't see anyone complaining about him;

Classics no, but definitely better than the previous generations figures. You handled rattrap and scoop right? That plastic was abysmal. Those figures didnt feel right. Just look at the pieces that make up rattrap's hind legs for an example of that el cheapo feeling. What about bltizwing and double dealer? The failure twins! I find every figure in CW better than that mold. Then there is the undisputed cheapest plastic ever: the foc line, which was under generations. Thats where generations grimlock comes from and he is the most hallowed out toy we have ever gotten and also has that super cheap feeling.
So yeah CW is, to me, a return to form. The plastic feels sturdier and the toys are getting bsck to their older and bigger sizes for their class.

Seen this several times now. It's "Break-Neck" (or in Takara's toy's case, "Wildrider").Hellscream9999 wrote:neck brace
