Yeah, the ears are meant to be two-toned - gray on the interior part closer to his head (ala the Takara release) and orange on the edges (like the Hasbro one). They're both just solid colors instead. Both versions didn't get the ear colors anime accurate right? Not so much into Armada that's why I ask.....
The horns were predominately gray, though, with orange only highlighting a portion of each horn (at least in the show, that is).
