What I really was asking is how do we know that these drawing are of Ginrai and not Convoy?

Also, my instinct, was that this was detailing the takara release of Combiner Wars Optimus. This is entirely due to that shot of the truck's front with the different windows, drawn near the back of the cab. They look a lot like the chest of the Torso created using Combiner Wars Optimus. That would also explain the fact that he was several set of windows for transformation.

ジンライ = "Jinrai" = "Ginrai".

PMOP is my favorite Transformers toy ever. I would love a Classics version with a working Hi-Q/Ginrai. I'd be pretty likely to buy at least two from Hasbro and Takara each. Brainstorm is looking pretty great. The minis look nice too but oddly colored. I love that Swerve's partner, in weapon mode, resembles his absurd gun from the comics

Haven't you heard? Ginrai totally already exists, brah! Botcon 2014 fo life! Seriously though. I'd be all in. Also, for serious, I do very much enjoy the con figures this year.

They each form one half of a Space Shuttle: Phaser is the front, Blast Master is the back.

These were fun Micromasters back in the day. I wish they were a little more price/valued on eBay nowadays.

i think if they did (and its a big IF) that they would just make a new base OP. i think itd be to much work to engineer a PM trailer around the MP10 (and retooling of MP10 to boot), which was actually the case of MP22.

True and the original inrai didnt use the original optimus cab either. It would be a different optimus cab in this case (but it is a HUGE IF indeed).

As for Tailgate, the US version has flames (like the Prime version), while the Japanese version is all bare like the G1 original. I like extra deco (US Tailgate), and I like space craft (Japanese Phaser). Which to choose?

Maybe i am missing something but to get the most out of deco, how about getting takara awerve and us tailgate? I myself will just get rakara swerve so that phaser can go with payload.

Maybe i am missing something but to get the most out of deco, how about getting takara awerve and us tailgate? I myself will just get rakara swerve so that phaser can go with payload.

Thing is, you can't get Takara Swerve or Takara Taigate separately since they come in a 2-pack.
