Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Any word on a release date other than January?
Nope. That's why Fun Pub was able to do Chromedome: Because Hasbro wasn't planning one.Cobotron wrote:Yes. Super excited.
I know there are only a couple of Headmasters in IDW, but I've been hoping we would get a bunch of them for a long time.
Think they'll do Chromedome?

Though, none of the characters known to be Headmasters in other fiction are Headmasters in IDW (save for Scorponok, but that was short-lived). But it did give us Sunstreaker as one for a while (until he went back to being normal).

Well, IDW did previously try it's own take on the Headmaster concept, but only utilized Scorponok and Sunstreaker. Though, in this version, becoming a Headmaster was depicted as a ghoulish, torturous, and abominable process. After all, it is basically a form of decapitation anyway. It involved a TF having its head removed, stripped apart, and then hooked up to a computer system that would allow the head to remain in psychically linked to the body whilst said body would be operated by a human in a transformable exosuit that, after an intense ordeal of surgical implantation, becomes the new head, allowing the mind of the TF and the human to become one and enabling the body to be of both persons as one.Cobotron wrote:Bummer. That Club one looks great but, he's not a headmaster. I guess the IDW situation explains why.
I feel like there are so many old gimmicks they could capitalize on. I miss the modularity of the old days.
But, that's just the old guy talking.

Plus, it has become increasingly rare these days for Takara to do something on their own without Hasbro's input or influence. The last new molds Takara made completely on their own were the Swordbots and Optimus ExPrime from Go!, which were original creations rather than based on any existing characters or designs.megatronus wrote:Nevermind!

Those are a different case, yes. I'm referring to regular figure lines, not the super-duper extra special high-grade for-collectors-only line.megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Plus, it has become increasingly rare these days for Takara to do something on their own without Hasbro's input or influence. They were very similar to the headmaster Jnrs, just file out legs. But as you said were so small it never quiet worked
