Don't forget about conversion rates. $25 AUS is less than $20 USD (which isn't that much higher than the $17 most stores have them for.) Plus the extra shipping to that country compared to the US. Doesn't sound that over the top.Rated X wrote:$40 for a voyager? $25 for a deluxe ? Thats a sale ? How much is a pack of gum in Australia? 5 bucks ? Or is this crazy price gouging only done with toys ?

I want to know why the $100 difference on YotG Prime. $199 AUS is about $154 USD. (He normally sells for like $140 in the US) Why does it normally cost $100 extra?!?!
One Australian dollar = 78 American cents.Rated X wrote:$40 for a voyager? $25 for a deluxe ? Thats a sale ? How much is a pack of gum in Australia? 5 bucks ? Or is this crazy price gouging only done with toys ?

That Grim was so overpriced to begin with, and was subsequently dwarfed by the TT widespread reissue AND Hasbro's 2014 reissue.megatronus wrote:Shajaki posted this some time back, but I was just floored by how discounted this is:

Also, is anyone else contemplating picking up MP-05G Gold Megatron from TFsource JUST for Reflector?
On the flip side, has anyone bought MP-05G and NOT want Reflector? Because I'll buy it.
Dunno. If there's someone who understands the business aspect of it, I'd like to hear a theory. I understand expensive shipping (its the fault of CP & USPS) but why not give the same codes to us?-Kanrabat- wrote:When will HTS finally make shipping reasonable for Canadians and make the sales codes WORK for us?

Someone should complain to Hasbro about this

Not just for it, but yeah I'm considering that one pretty seriously. It's exactly the kind of weird toy I need more of. Thanks for the link, had kind of forgotten about this one

Maybe I just didn't notice it before and they've been doing that awhile. Still a darn good deal. $95 of retail figures for $91 with better decos.

That means 135$ and 148$ respectively. With shipping, exchange and custom fees if they catch you, we still arent that better off, they will still cost close to 200$ cdn each.
