I know. I'm using Device Label Broadblast as my C/G Blaster, so I don't need him in that regard. Though I do have a FOC/WFC collection as well... so I'll eventually need him. But y'know, priorities ;)

Dat Blaster is tempting. I've never ordered from tfsource, how's their shipping. I'm guessing like $20 for a single item.

I'm just too lazy to go though the cart process on mah phone.

No way Carythebro. I haven't ordered from them, but I bet their shipping rates are pretty standard for the continental US. They're in Minnesota somewhere. St. Paul-ish. I'd guess 8 bucks. :D

Thanks, Cobrotron! I just may bite.

Just cruised over to BBTS and saw there was a Leader Class sale.

Nothing too note worthy though. Mostly AoE stuff, they do have Gen Jetfire for $35.

I really need to pay attention to Reprolabels updates. It's tempting, but I don't actually have anything on the go with BBTS right now. But being in Canada, it won't end up being such a "steal" for me :-B ;)

This isn't a sale, but I still consider it a "steal".
BBTS recently got a restock of the Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus Prime (MP-10). Y'all know what the secondary market price is for one of these, so I suggest you nab one while you have the chance!

What's the deal with this here?

Image

It looks like a little rubber ball and a plastic key. Does it do anything cool? Or is it just a collectors item?

Just a collectors item, It is the key to vector sigma from the G1 episode of the similar name. It<s what gave the Aerialbots life.

Its actually really cool. As WJ explained, its the Key to Vector Sigma (and Vector Sigma itself) featured in the G1 cartoon, and also in Beast Machines.

The sphere is plastic and has a notch for the key, and the key is solid diecast (and quite satisfying I might add!). The base unfortunately is just cardboard, but I just tossed it aside ;)

apologies for dusty display

More than a Ferrari in fact.

I posted this in the RID 2015 thread. I thought it might be pertinent here too?

Here's something I don't quite understand...

Image

At a Walmart in Omaha NE, I found all of wave 1 and 2 RID Legions in the clearance isle. They also had RID Titan (shampoo bottles). What I don't get is that these are current toys. The regular TF section was pretty bleak. A few Combiner Wars W1 Voyagers, A few W2 CW deluxes, 1 of each Leader Megs, 4 or 5 Warrior class RID and some 1 steps. A ton of AOE 1 steps, deluxes, and voyagers. But most of all, empty pegs!
Why are these legions on clearance? Why aren't the AOE toys on clearance? Was this a mistake? My mind is sufficiently boggled, and disappointed that I already bought all of these at full price.
If you're at Wally Town, might be worth a trip down the clearance isle. Who knows you might find Leader Ultra Magnus, or Devastator.

To answer your question ^^ about new figures on clearance, its because the Toy dept Manager of that store is an idiot. They likely have a new plan-o-gram that isn't downloaded (or set up yet) so the new stuff shows as though the store is not meant to sell that line. So they mistakenly mark it as "clearance" when it should be set aside to wait for the new set up to go live. It happens from time to time but most stores mark them with red tags at full price and put them in the "clearance" aisle.

It's also worth noting that Walmart doesn't call it a "clearance aisle" they call it a "items not stocked" aisle and they lump together old "clearance" with other things that don't have a spot on their shelves like returns from another store (where their store doesn't stock the item) or online returns, stuff that was shipped to them on accident, etc.
