The Ultimate life-form Vs an Overrated Demon. who would win. Shadow has all 7 emeralds. Nine tailed fox allowed. Shadow can be super as long as he wants. Chaos control whenever he wants, for as long as he wants.

You know, I was going to steal your idea and post it, but you beat me to it.

Despite Shadow's complete coolness, I still reckon Naruto comes out on top.

I haven't seen the Sonic series, so don't bash me too bad...

Naruto wins.

Why?

The reason is simple, and uses logic

Reason 1: Shadow sucks. They just applied the wolverine anti-hero to a sonic clone, and the Shadow game, not to mention the recent Soic games are proof as to how much Shadow sucks.

Reason 2: Naruto is Dragonball Z Jr, he is retarded powerful, a ninja, not to mention his speed is faster than a human's eye can follow.

Reason 3: Despite personal opinions(though opinions are like assholes everyone has one and they usually stink, but you can usually just ignore opinions from anyone under 15 since they're too young to have anything useful to add(unless of course they are a documented genius who knows what they are talking about, and yes I did use two sets of parenthesis for this sub-comment)), after getting through to the Chuunin exams, and after Naruto stops using "believe it!(in the english dubs)" the story is relatively good. Especially when you get into Shippuden. Which is more than you can say for Shadow, but also for any anime that creates an episode where cavities are used to brainwash children somehow.

Shadow is invinceable in super mode. He's DBZ furry. Its not about how much you like shadow. it's about how Powerful shadow and naruto are. Shadow is the ultimate life and can turn invinceable. naruto is a demon.

Adventure 2 was good, but after that, it was all variable amounts of sub-par.

You don't know Super Mode's limits, huh? Super Mode is Super Saiyan, with all the power and speed, but with one critical ailment: Time. Super Mode can only last as long as the user has Rings in his possession, and those burn out pretty quick.

Naruto manifests four tails, outruns Super Shadow, then slaughters him when he powers down.

I vote for Shadow. Naruto really is overrated.

Rings are a game mechanic. and if rings are't a game mechanic, as long as shadow has one ring, he is invinceable. he loses ten rings at a time. He can recolect those rings. shadow can create tornadoes. shadow can stop time. he could easily stop time and then cut naruto's head off with his knife/sword that he has in his game.

Rings do not last forever. Sonic and Shadow made a point of this in Adventure 2, which is why they had to tag-team Finalhazard. One does damage, the other refreshes his ring supply.

Then so are the chaos emeralds. As they only came about in the game to give Sonic a way to beat whoever the hell he had to beat.

So, since the Rings being a game mechanic makes them not count. Then by your own logic Shadow can't use the Chaos Emeralds because they are a game mechanic.

In the anime they use the chaos emeralds. they don't use ring in the anime. THIS IS AN ANIME FIGHT!!!!

Well, for one. You never specified that this was the Shadow from Sonic X, or the Shadow from the video games.

Usually one specifies what is going on, otherwise they can change the rules in their favor whenever hey realize "uh oh I messed up."

Secondly, I do believe in the original Sonic cartoon, they did use rings every now and again.

So if this is a fight between the cartoon characters. Then rings are used in the Sonic cartoon universe, not to mention, they are used in Sonic X.

Rings are a bit different from the games in Sonic X and Sonic the Hedgehog (the Archie comics version and cartoon). When Sonic holds a ring it gives him an extra boost of energy akin to a Chaos Emerald, but not as powerful. Also, when Sonic holds a ring it allows him to turn himself into spinning ball like in the game Sonic Spinball.

Now, lets go about this your way. Even though it was set up as an extremely one sided fight due to your massive hardon hatred for Naruto, which is hilarious since for someone who seems to not like it as much as you, you just can't seem to stop talking about it.

The super transformation that happens to Shadow, is like every single super transformation in anime. It has limits. While, like you stated, he would be able to use it however many times he wanted to. This constant use of using this ability would put a tremendous strain on Shadows body.

Considering that the first time Shadow would do this, he wouldn't be able to take down Naruto, especially considering once NAruto becomes unconscious or his life is threatened enough, the Demon-fox pops out. Naruto becomes nigh-invulnerable.

These facts combined with how much more powerful the demon-fox Naruto becomes as each tail manifests only increases just how much of a hard time Shadow will have.

Regardless of time stopping abilities, Naruto has the ability to heal, rapidly. Considering that the demon-fox's energy causes his(Naruto's) body constant harm which he promptly heals.

So it wouldn't matter what Shadow really does to Naruto, unless he can kill him off in his first transformation, Naruto will become increasingly powerful, as Shadow becomes increasingly weaker due to keeping up a constant super form.

If naruto didn't have a head, he wouldn't be able to recover.

And if Shadow didn't have a head he wouldn't be able to recover either.

Thats a just a dumb comment.

Considering Naruto's speed before the demon fox transformation. Which is upon human capabilities.

Then considering the demon-fox's speed upon the transformation, which is way beyond that.

Shadow and the Demon Fox would most likely be tied on speed.

Which would mean the demon-fox would most likely wear Shadow down, then my previous statement about the limits of the chaos emeralds transformation comes back into play.

Shadow would chaos control to stop time, steal one of naruto's knives, and cut off his head. he can chaos control for as long as he wants. Plus in the games he can chaos control for 30 seconds. enough time.

Now, getting back to the whole time control thing. In animes, using chaos control to stop time, probably only lasts a very short time, considering this is anime, and if they let a character be able to stop time whenever he felt like it with no drawbacks, it wouldn't make for a very interesting cartoon.

So I'm about 90% certain Shadow can't stop time for very long, maybe enough time to dodge an attack, but I doubt enough time in order for him to stroll over to the enemy, rummage through his stuff, steal a weapon, then decapitate that enemy all in one move.

So, since this is an anime fight, then anime rules must be used.

So essentially in Demon-fox mode, Naruto is an unstoppable god of death, and destruction. While Shadow in super mode, is just a golden anti-hero hedgehog with abilities on par with Demon-fox Naruto with, I'd guess, the fourth tail.

So, what I've already said a million times thus-far, and the way the fantasy battles thread is going, a millions times more.

Naruto = Dragonball Z Jr.

Super Sonic = Dragonball Z Pet-In-Law

Naruto > Shadow

Naruto wins, for all the reason I've already stated in this thread that I really don't feel like repeating.

Shadow is immortal

It really doesn't matter if he is immortal or not while in his Super form.

Like I've already said, thanks to the anime law of super transformations. The transformation puts a enormous amount of stress on the persons body. So even though they may be able to use a super-form several times in a row, their body cannot keep up that extraneous pace.

Like in Dragonball Z, Goku could only stay SS, SSJ2, SSJ3 for a shot period of time, because it puts tremendous stress on the body, and uses an enormous amount of energy, and while he was able to master SSJ and SSJ2 over time, even getting to the point where he could stay SSJ for as long as he wanted. That still took massive amounts of training and discipline to get to that point, and achieving this mastery over one form is only allowed when it's know there is a more powerful form past that first form.

Since there isn't for the chaos emeralds transformation, this mastery cannot happen, and if there was, Shadow has not been able to achieve this feat at all.

Now, like I've stated, the Chaos transformation is an extreme strain on the body, so if Shadow were to use it in succession he would kill himself, with no need for NAruto to do it at all.

So Naruto doesn't even need to actually attack, he just needs to keep up with shadow long enough to wear him, and his body down. Which in the demon-fox form, that is entirely possible and the most likely outcome.

no, in NORMAL form shadow is immortal

Well immortal does not mean he cannot be defeated. It just means he cannot be killed.

Not to mention, they do not say that Shadow is immortal in Sonic X, only in the games it is stated that Shadow is an immortal being.

And if it is mentioned in the show that he is immortal. It doesn't really matter as my first sentence would still apply.
