I am interested in seeing how this plot twist with Sari will work out. She can't be a bot, tho, since Sumdac certainly hasn't invented any type or robot that can act so "human".

I also really liked what they did with Jazz's character. And he has nunchucks, which is a nice change if weaponry IMO. I hope to see more of him, tho I wonder why Prowl didn't go through all of Ninja-bot training? So many questions!

Did anyone else notice the look of Dull Surprise on Sari's face at the end of the episode? :)

I like Jazz a LOT better than the other two. He's much easier to convince that humans aren't deadly than the other two. I think Sentinel might be scared of organics based on his past experience with the spiders and he always pulling out a force field in this episode.

And, I hate to admit it, but there might be something to the theory about Sari being a robot. BUT a robot/android/etc is not the only possibility as to what she is. Another possible one would be that she could've been born in a lab tube/artificial womb as a human created through science.

Besides, its already been said she's human:

But things can change.

Maybe Jazz will teach Prowl some new Metallikato moves. He didn't seem like he was being malicious toward Prowl when he commented on his skills(he actually sounded quite impressed), just that he needed some more training. Jazz came off as less of a prick than Sentinel.

Magnus was quite awesome, despite never hitting anything with the GYNORMOUS hammer.

As for Sari, the original clips of the show had her with a backpack that put out little jet boosters, maybe they weren't coming out of the backpack... Didn't she have a robot dog too?

The highlight of this episode for me was when Grimlock knocked that autoprick Sentinel Prime flat on his aft. Priceless!

I also really love Jazz. Him and Prowl make an awesome ninja team!

Great episode! I wish these episodes were an hour long, 'cause 30 minutes is just too short. I was suprized to see Megatron established a base in the mines were his body was excavated. This Inuyasha-style search for the Allspark/crystal shards should prove interesting. If these shards are to be found in Cybertronian based technology, it could mean a return for Soundwave. It could also mean we'll be getting Allspark-powered superhumans and/or Decepticons.

That was a sweet episode, and only one line from Sari that made me cringe. It's a record.

Thor was cool too! That is to say Ultra "Thor" Magnus.

I don't understand how someone as ignorant as Sentinel Prime gets to hang out with the Supreme Commander though.

Jazz was okay, nothing special, but pretty fun.

I'm going to designate Ultra Magnus' ship, "The O'Neill". Har har.

Loved it.

Ultra Magnus was super cool with his hammer, really gives his status some 'umph'.

Sentinel is a dick. Awesome!

Jazz is very likable. If they kill THIS Jazz off, I will be very annoyed. This is the closest to G1 Jazz we've had, in his love for earth culture. Well the movie one did have a love for it too but it wasn't really explored or elaborated on.

Megatron and his gang are still around. Woop.

The AllSpark is scattered around... Sounds sadly unoriginal. Strikes the same chord as Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon in a 'Gotta catch em all' kinda way. We'll see if they manage it well.

And Sari not existing! It's an interesting direction, but I feel a little that its a bit.. soap opera drama, you know? A sudden inexplicable twist thrown in for effect. No doubt this is what Sumdaac was referring to in the last episode. I'm gonna guess she's actually a robot or something totally bizarre. Why else would the AllSpark choose her? I mean it has very little to do with organics generally, doesn't it.

This is starting to get very G1 again, i'm please to say! All very nostalgic. Autobots helping to repair the damage. The decepticons scheming. And of course, its going back to the Autobot/Decepticon war now. Plus the new elements, like Prime having a rival and Sari being.. not Sari.

Loving it! Loving it all over!

No just 13 eps. That's how it is with all CN shows 13 episodes per season, but I bet this series will get atleast 5 seasons since that;s the usual run for CN shows

Sari as an android - plausible, but highly unlikely. Given the "usual" stuff that Sumdac puts out, and if she is a Cybertronian derivative why doesn't she trigger all the Cybertron-tech sensors the TFs have???

I'm thinking the lack of records was because Daddy didn't want a paper trail leading to a target that can be used against him. Look at how sequestered she was at the beginning of the story - Daddy doesn't even let her go to school - she has a home-school 'bot instead...

This one seems to be revealing a lot more "adult" orientation than usual - on top of Sari, there's now a question about OP and his training.

Consider this one phrase: OP - to Sentinel - "and I'm the same rank as you"

So OP and SP are both equal (Officer?) rank. Which leads me to believe the "Elite Guard" school = Ranger-style school, not the primary Military Academy. That one thing could change the whole dynamic about OP...

Nice episode! A little twist with the Allspark fragment stuff, which adds the object of importance to the other episodes. Space bridge technology? Also, first time we've seen Cybertron, I believe.

I like Jazz. So he's gone through Autobot Academy and learned martial arts? I wonder if he's supposed to be superior to Prowl, because that would sort of defeat Prowl's character. Sentinel Prime is a real pain, but he's cool. Ultra Magnus is my favorite of the three, and very admirable. I like that Optimus and Sentinel are equals
under him.

A little bit of whatever with the Dinobots, but at least they're not going away. And of course it remains to be seen what will become of Starscream, and Blackarachnia.

This is probably my favorite episode of animated! I think when Bumblebee & Bulkhead were talking about Sentinel not remembering them is a little reference to a future episode when there are4 flashbacks of them in Autobot Bootcamp. I think they got the "Allspark Fragment" idea from the movie, I just hope this isn't like Armada where they search for the fragments like mini-cons.

Yeah, I caught the bit with Bulkhead and Bumblebee too. I think it's interesting, and that episode should be really fun. And what nerve Bulkhead had to go at Sentinel like that. I wonder if we'll see something like that.

I think it'll be more like an "InuYasha-style" search like how they search for the Sacred Jewel Shards.

Plus, when the AllSpark fragments affect the technology they're stuck to, they emit a blue energy. Sound familiar? (*cough*AllSpark Power toys*cough*)

I must say, there is no reason for not to dislike Animated. It's original, nostalgic in some areas, & just makes me happy.

-Ultra Magnus is awesome, aside from the fact that he sounds very close to the G1 Movie Magnus. That made my day. Plus he has a giant hammer!

-Sentinel is a douche. That is all. Although I loved it when Magnus totally ripped him in front of the rest of the Autobots.

-The Decepticons are hiding out in a cavern somewhere....very "Nightbird"-ish if I recall correctly.

-Jazz has style. 'Nuff said. If he gets into earth music, then I definately know that this is G1 reincarnated.

This is my show now. Nothing else matters until Masterpiece Soundwave is produced.

What more can i say ? everything has been said about this episode. i really liked it. Thor's power... i'm sorry, Ultra Magnus' power is awesome and i can't wait to see him in combat with old Megs. the Jazz and Prowl duo kind of reminds me of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker in g1.

Okay, now let's sum up the references in this ep:

- Both Jazz and Prowl mention Metallikato as a martial art, this is clearly a reference to G1 Bludgeon.
- Megatron and his henchmen are hanging out a in mine, both comic and cartoon incarnations have done this at one point. More specifically comic Megatron set up shop in a coal mine after being badly damaged previously.
- Sumdac's captivity seems to mimic Archevil's situation in the G1 cartoon.
- Ultra Magnus is most almost a carbon copy of his G1 incarnation.
- Jazz is back, though he appears to be a mix of his cartoon and movie incarnations.
- Jazz didn't know what to make of the humans when he first saw them. A similar situation was presented to him in the very first Transformers issue when the Autobots first saw humans in a drive in.
- The Allspark shards are possibly a reference to the movie when Optimus Prime picked up a allspark shard from Megatron's body.
- Megatron is planning to build his own spacebridge, this is the opposite of the cartoon and comic versions. In both comics and cartoons it was the Decepticons who had spacebridge technology.

Anybody else catch any references?

Season 1, Season 2, I don't care, this was a good episode.

Jazz was a really nifty character. Very G1 like and much preferred to his movie self. Like his numbchuck weapons, and the fact that he and Prowl are similar, and yet different enough to be separate characters.

I was very impressed with Ultra Magnus. I really like his hammer of Thor actions, the voice actor was great and he came off as being a very powerful bot.

LIke everyone else I really dislike Sentinel and wish that the Tick would just kick him to planet infinity or something.

Nice to see Megatron set his sights on Cybertron again. However, the poster who said this was going to become like Inuyasha jewel shards was right on the money. Are they going to collect them all and try to glue them together? Megatron did not seem too interested in this new fact turning up. He was much more interested in his space bridge technology.

Can't wait until April 26th --spoiler--so Sentinel will get his and headmaster returns to use that pretty pink bonnet as a tool for war.

Two thumbs up for this ep. Sentinel's stupidity, makes one wonder how he was ever chosen to be in the Elite Guard. Must be a lot of bots called in sick that day. :|

Yeah it seemed a bit that way. Things are starting to get interesting. I think where Prowl may come into his own is he's not a 'college-boy' or 'academy-bot'. Prowl is probably more of a self-taught autodidact.

Excellent episode overall. Right from the start it was good. Nice to see the autobots doing some clearing up. I always like to see repercussions to big action scenes, and continuity with previous episodes.

Sentinel Prime is great! Whatta guy... though maybe they're laying him on just a bit too thick. Perhaps it might work better if he was just mildly irritating, so they could drag out the little feud a bit longer. Anyway, his addition provides an instant solution to the problem of Optimus's likability. It was great to see Bulkhead sticking up for the bossbot.

Magnus is magnificent. Megatron and the decepticons suddenly seem a lot less threatening. I lol'd when Lugnut's arm fell off.

I also noticed that we haven't been introduced to Wreck-Gar yet. Maybe there are any more bots on that massive ship. But I was thinking he'd be an excellent candidate for the sort of scrapyard-junk-turned-sentient-bot-by allspark-shard type storyline that I'm sure we'll see at some point.

They've really picked up after a few dud shows. Lots of interesting developments and unexpected twists.

He actually like mix between G1 and RiD Ultra Magnus. He's got G1's looks and leadership, and Rid's power and might (In RiD, they said Ultra Magnus was the most powerful warrior of all the Autobots).
