San Diego Comic Con 2015 - Transformers Designer Shogo Hasui Attending with Hasbro Booth

Fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade notified us of a surprising announcement concerning the Hasbro presence at San Diego Comic Con 2015 - which will also feature superstar Transformers designer Shogo Hasui! Hasui reported the news himself via Twitter, as you can see embedded below, and is responsible for some of the most successful Transformers figures, from Animated to Masterpiece, and, the reason behind his presence now, Titan class Devastator.

I'll attend San Diego Comic-con as designer of Titian Devastator at Hasbro booth. 来週サンディエゴ・コミコンのハスブロブースにタイタンデバスター開発者として参加します。とても楽しみです。#TT_TF

It would stand to reason that Devastator with all the joints for the individual bots was a consideration during its design, and later removed to fit's hasbro's needs.

And not that the joints were and afterthought by Takara.

Not sure what this has to do with the news of Hasui appearing at SDCC, but the latest issue of Figure King shows the parts altered for Takara's version in the grey prototype stage while the rest of the (unpainted) figure is unchanged from the finalized Hasbro version, showing that the changes were made after the Hasbro version was complete:

Additionally, the changes made to Hook's and Mixmaster's arms to give them better elbows by adding new elbow joints did not replace the joints that were already created for the Hasbro version, instead keeping the Hasbro elbow joints intact, making their arms now have double-jointed elbows while the other four Constructicons only have single-jointed elbows, further showing that these changes were made after Hasbro's version was done.
