It's a little odd that one of the reviewer's strong points, balance, is actually not true...at least not with mine. In a regular standing pose, one bump to the shelf and Defender is on his back, taking whoever is at his flanks with him. Slightly longer feet would have helped this problem.

For figures like this I like to put tack on the bottom of their feet. You know the stuff used to hang up posters onto walls? That stuff. As long as the position doesn't defy gravity it works wonders (even keeping Lazerbeak on Soundwave's arm).

Just putting it out there.

A tried and true method, but in all honesty, the figure should be designed well enough to be able to stand on it's own without 3rd party support. Especially at the prices we pay.

Granted, it's a minor crit, but it's still a fair point.

My Springer just arrived. Holy Crap this is an amazing figure. The sophistication and engineering involved is incredible. Transforming it for the first time felt like the first time transforming a masterpiece or alternator, truly this is a collector's toy, made by fans for fans. I think I will be leaving the instruction manual out of the box when I put the box away, it is not normal for me to need it (often at all) but with Springer, hell yes.

Fansproject, you have outdone yourself. :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

Edit: After transforming it a few times, I do wish it had more heel support, but as regular earthquakes keep me from displaying all my transformers except City Commander in robot mode, Springer should be rock solid stable in armoured car mode, lol.
