I'm a college instructor teaching IT classes. I have two rules number one I tell my students. The first is reboot. But the second one is "Google it!" I have never been the first person to discover a problem. Someone has always encountered the problem before me and put it online. The Internet is a spectacular treasure trove of information. And it is amazing just how easy it is to find most of it.

So, I don't think the comment should be taken sarcastically. When someone says "Google it" it means that the answer is so easy as to require about 10-15 seconds of Googling it. I teach this to my students to encourage self sufficiency and critical thinking, two skills that will serve everybody well.

(You'll know when I get sarcastically exasperated when I start linking things like this. ;) )

And, by the way, I actually agree with your point on using measurements at all. To me, 6.5" is the same a 6" and something not really meaningful without a ruler present. I love to get comparisons to existing, popular figures. Saying it's about the size of Classics Starscream is much more meaningful to me.

Oh, and if I may ask a question of Saberblade, you made a comment about the alternate head not being A3. In what manner were you speaking? I'm just curious. (You have continued to astound me with your TF Knowledge. Thanks in advance!)

Im not saying I disagree with you. Im just looking more at the social aspect of what we do here. I'm not looking at the online aspect that I just happen to be on a computer and might as well google it. I'm treating it like were a bunch of guys at a bar with no computer in sight. On a side note, many of my posts are made by cell phone when I have 2 minutes to step away from my duties at work. I often don't have the time to "google it". Just saying...

It's based on his middle-aged appearance from "War Dawn", not his younger appearance as seen in "Forever Is a Long Time Coming.

What A3 is supposed to look like:

Im sure Dr. Wu or somebody else will make a new head for those who want the "Zoro" look. Some might even just cut off the prongs altogether, round em off and paint them. Im good with it though. Do you have a cartoon image of the "middle aged" A-3 this figure is supposed to homage ?

But just in case you need a hand in the future, it really is this simple.

Plus you don't have to wait around for someone to answer. Seems to me that a quick Google search is smarter AND faster.

Humor me for a moment....Did you ever stop to think telling someone to "google it" is a bit on the sarcastic side ? I personally find it to be the equivalent to calling someone a dumb ass. If you were in a more social setting like a a bar and someone asked you a question, would you tell them to pull out their phone and google it ? Granted this is an internet forum and not an Irish pub, but the way we socialize on here it might as well be a pub. Sometimes its cool to throw out a question to see who answers it as a sign of mutual respect. My guess is the guy who has the time to type "google it" instead of typing the answer to your question probably doesnt respect you. Thats the main reason I ask instead of always running to google. I engage my network. Google is a last resort. Just some food for thought...

I don't know about you guys, but I keep a mathematician on speed dial in case of emergencies, or if I need to pay tips in restaurants.

My phone does have a unit conversion feature on it.

Though, I think I've only ever used it once (and got the wrong answer).

Technology, it's amazing!

Wow, never realized how extensive Trion's character models were in the old toon.

I did not notice that we saw 3 different heads at different stages of his life and different shoulder pads. Holy crap, for a somewhat minor character that didn't show up that often they did put in a lot of work. Stuff like that and a few other things kinda give the impression that the original cartoon had far more interesting stuff going on in the background and the past than what we actually got to see.

To get back to the damn conversion thing, I can't really do the conversions myself (just ruffly), that's because inches is inferior to the metric system and I don't really see why I should learn a whole other system that is so flawed that it still needs to call back to the metric system for anything more complex and detailed than a human body part.
So I have long used online converters and a special ruler (bought by my mum back when the UK "adopted" the metric system only to then give up halfway when it realized that that required some work and back then it was very patriotic to not work) to convert stuff when I posted news. It's so easy to do, it takes less time than actually posting the question on a forum and waiting for an answer, which is why people call you out on it X.
You have a history of trying to piss people off because you don't understand something but they do, and you've done it with measurements before. So either learn to be just a little self reliant or continue to get treated that way.

Ouch... As aside, the Yen does not have "cents" like the Dollar does. As a rule of thumb, 1 Yen is roughly 1 cent.
