A new TV spot for the Transformers movie has surfaced on Superherohype.com and on Youtube. You can see the new footage, and here Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, you can view the spot on Superherohype here and on youtube here.

Interesting
Might just be the audio, or it might be what they have for the spot, but if that's Cullen doing Prime, he doesn't like what I remember from the G1 series (what little I remember). Then again, the scene's too short to tell with absolute certainty.
A little bit of Prime with mouth action there. That'll make some folk unhappy. It's a really nice rendering job, though. I wasn't expecting them to be that, well, 'animated' when they're just talking. Too used to seeing them in low-to-middling budget cartoons, I guess
Starscream's little powerslide looked exceptionally well done, too. It does look like it's there, as in an actual prop. Seriously. Whoa.

That, and -- I hate Jon Voigt. I swear. What are they doing? That stupid donkey face on Prime doesn't look good. Come on. And boxy robots would have looked cheesy? Please. The RID/Primal face could and would have looked a lot better here. This looks like something out of the TMNT movie.

Prime didn't really sound like his G1 self to me. However, this was just a little bit less than a second of audio. I bet it'll be better in the entire movie.

I didn't notice the mouth. I was too fixated on the voice, I guess. Oops. Still, I believe it works because it fits with the rest of his face very nicely.

It is not suppose to.

I remember Prime's voice being really deep in The Rebirth, compared to earlier seasons. Maybe that's what he's going for, if only to emphasise the character's age and size.
My favourite performance of his though will always be from waaay back in MTMTE, less deep and showing a pretty fierce temper a couple of times. I would pay serious cash (in addition to the $25 I've already donated to the Hasbro kids' hospital) to see and hear Prime losing it over some 'con. Bonecrusher, perhaps?
Upon closer investigation, you can see a lot of small plates and pieces moving around on Prime's face to show a range of emotion. Personally, I think he's animated in that overly-smooth CGI style which screams of being artificial. That's beside the point, though, which is that if this much emotion can be achieved with overlapping panels and whatnot, it would have been EASY for them to use more humanoid faces on the Transformers. They just made a radically different design decision, and I stand by my opinion that it was NOT a good one.
i'm with the rest of you guys, i just won't be able to get over primes mouth. flat out, it looks horrible but what else is new? just another one of the countless screw ups and wrong decisions.
I'm down. The Baseball Stadium shot was F!cked up, man. I really can't wait to see the full Shot of Prime transforming. It'll be a helluva movie, that's for sure...
