Well.. If the bot in the trailer is sentinel prime. he's clearly dead/offline then comes back to life in the trailer. which means, during rotf, prime was the last prime. i think that's pretty straight as far as story goes.

It can be quite easily explained. It was obvious that Sentinel Prime was offline...stasis lock mebbe. The ship crashed and everyone on Cybertron thought he was lost in space with his crew. The Fallen probably didn't "feel" anything. He was likely in communication with Megatron on Earth and knew when Prime fell. He didn't know of Sentinel Prime's existence.

Looks to me like they might've downsized everything for the first wave.
I thought for sure leader optimus with a trailer would be in there somewhere.
Just to be fair though, I fear almost everything there will be mine.

With all the speculation around Roadbuster's appearance and Maybe I missed it being posted somewhere but doesn't it stand to reason that Roadbuster will simply be one of the Nascar Wreckers?
He is a Wrecker and apparently we're getting him in the movie so....
Unfortunately I would think this leaves little chance for any G1 resemblance.

YES! Awesome...can't WAIT for this. It will look fantastic!

Voyager class

ARGH! But..it...they...#@$%.

Dammit. I was so hoping for a Leader class trailer. Even if it was just packed with another RotF Prime. I would actually buy another one in order to get the trailer.

But Voyager class? Not so much. Maybe it will be the recent Voyager mold with the Matrix. That was enough to tempt me...so with the Matrix and a trailer, perhaps that would be enough to convince me to get it. Otherwise, I may have to pass.

Maybe we'll get a Leader trailer later on. Here's hoping. (Yeah, right.)

I agree. It's very interesting to see "Sponsored Car #2" without a #1...especially when none of the NASCAR numbers are 2. I think he is likely going to be one of the Wreckers...which is just fine with me. And btw, two of the Arcee bikes were destroyed in the last movie...the third survived.

I can't wait to see "Dark of the Moon" and collect figures from the toy line. I've recently finished collected all the characters who appeared in the movies, and I'm all ready to collect the ones who will appear in this film.

I knew it was Sentinel Prime who was in the ship in the teaser, and I also think that "Main Villain" is Shockwave (duh).

I'll admit, most of this makes me pretty angry. We get a leader class Bumblbee (which is completley pointless) and Prime and Megs get stuck as voyagers(If it was HFTD voyager prime I wouldn't mind that much, but the pictures we saw of the rumored voyager prime look pretty terrible). Also hasbro greatly improved Starscream with his leader class release but now he's a deluxe!?! WTF Hasbro!

Where's the obvious? I didn't see any name tags on those 'bots in the downed ship. Everyone is just assuming what those bots are. Also, the movie trailer seems to give the impression that the "assumed" bot in question is revived, even if only briefly, during the Lunar mission. Since we have no proof that Megatron was in communication with the Fallen, I'm going to have to go with the impression that we were all left with, that being that The Fallen is connected to the Primes since he is one of the original 13. This being the case, he would have felt it if the assumed Sentinel revived, if only for a short time.

Let's face it, folks are going to swarm out of the wood work with all manner of reasons as to why there are 2 Primes in this film, why the Fallen never knew about Sentinel, yadda yadda yadda. Don't defend crappy homework with TF mythos. The writers dropped the ball...again. This is going to be RotF all over again with just more money thrown at it for better locations, bigger explosions and larger hard-drives to render more robots to justify more toy production. The only decent thing we are getting, so far as I've seen, is a shiny trailer for Optimus. I'd be more excited at this point to see a big screen animated TF movie following the Generations toy-line.

More Bayformer let downs. "I hope Roadbuster has G1 styling!" You know it won't. Remember Wheelie? Does anyone not remember the last winner? As far as scaling problems: Hasbro will make nearly every character in every scale possible because alot of people like this shhhtuff. I bought many figures from the last 2 movies. I hate myself for the most part (Bludgeon ROCKS). I know I will buy this crap, but I'm not excited about it. There, I said it, persecute me.

very nice... unfortunately my only REAL interest at this point is Sentinel Prime, the Wreckers car and the "New Villan" (i assume Shockwave). Im gonna try to limit my TF spending from now on.
Roadbuster - maybe, depends on what he looks like. If he has the same colour scheme as ROADBUSTER Ultra Magnus and Universe ROADBUSTER then i may just vomit over it then say pass.

i buy only what i see in the movie. but i know what im not buying!!!!!!!!! THAT SCRAP BUMBLEBEE! prime is a smaller class than him!?!?!?!?!? WTF!!?!?! i hate that so much! but as far as old molds and different paint apps, then yeah just as long as its movie accurate. i will probably just but the voyager prime for the trailer and give it to my ROTF prime, if the prime is movie accurate. as long as its movie accurate. LEADER BUMBLEBEE??!! FAIL! AND NO LEADER MEGATRON OR PRIME?!?!

There is more hate so far in this thread than in the Oregon lockeroom last night.. We havent even seen most of these and already people throw them under the bus? Yikes..You know that hasbro will oversaturate the market with repaints of everything . Besides it is only "WAVE 1"

Exactly. People are acting like these are the only toys that are going ot be made for the new movie. There will be several waves at least within the next year after the movie. heck, were still getting ROTF waves to this day (or at least movie based figues set in the same universe). So lets make the best of what were going to get next next May and continue to speculate on who's who and what not.

yeah i guess ur right, the only one im throwing out is the leader BB. i would have to see just how movie accurate the toys are. i hope there is more in the following waves usually the leaders of megs and leader prime are in the first wave.

did anyone else notice that optimus prime with trailer is a voyager plus? Every other voyager listed is just a normal voyager, with bumblebee being the only deluxe plus.

Look at the bright side of all this folks...the 3rd party companies will be busy for the next 2 years making at least some of this DotM stuff worth purchasing with all the upgrade and retrofit pieces. Something decent may yet come out of this line.

have there been any add on 3rd party products for any of the movie figures yet? the only thing i can think of is the weapons set in which you could make a gun that barely resembled primes gun.

if no one decided to create a jetfire part upgrade kit for leader prime, i can't see 3rd party companies taking on the task of making anything for dotm.

but like you, i still hold out hope.

Probably because it's a Voyager-size prime plus a trailer?

I will be very disappointed if there aren't leaders of Prime, Megatron, or Shockwave...
