"Over the Years?" He did Megatron for TWO. Then he did a crappy Galvatron for another two before the show got canceled.

Jumping the Shark just after the second season is not a good sign.

Weaving is ok as Megatron. I still dont understand why Frank Welker couldnt have done it? Welker fit the part great in the game.

His voice is perfect for this design, it suits him. The facial features and movement are awesome! I wish people would stop putting clips of the movie up already. Cant we see some of the film in the theater?

Dammit, why did I have to see this clip? I knew it said spoiler, but I of course had to look.

Wow. I really am surprised how Hugo Weaving turned out. That is one seriously menacing voice.

Now when I first think Weaving, I tend to think of a more proper gent he plays like Agent Smith or Elrond. But good lord, this just blew me away. I really was not expecting any of that at all! He has officially chewed the scenery...or at least smashed it to bits with that mace of his.

As for Sam, he may not sound as great though, but what do more do you want from him? This scene has a veteran actor and a kid actor; the comparsion is as unfair as....oh i don't know, a giant killer robot from another planet versus some teen? I wish some people would lay off the guy already. Besides, even if he may not be the best or most experienced actor on set, thats not gonna kill the movie. I am pretty sure you will probably be more "distracted by killer robots" than paying attention to Shia LeBoeuf attempting to sound dramatic.

I guess its just a Hollywood effects thing. Kinda like when a
car flies off a cliff, lands and creates a huge mushroom cloud explosion,,,, we all know a four door sedan doesn't carry that much fuel. Or when some poor hack gets shot with a shotgun, he then goes flying back 20 feet from the impact... I've seen the mythbusters take on that one. totally busted.. :-P

Megs voice does sound good but its a generic baddy voice. Why couldnt we have had the metalic scratchy voice of Welker? I think it would have really worked. Oh well, at least he is in the game. Perhaps the movie makers will see the error of their ways and use him for Megatrons 2nd incarnation in the next film.

I always think it's hilarious when a voice actor is cast, and people assume they'll sound like a previous role. I mean, when Weaving was cast, all I heard was "Oh no, not Agent Smith!" Weaving did a great voice for Smith, also not his own voice. He is obviously a very talented voicer.

Let us not forget, Optimus Prime is voiced by the fella who plays Eeyore.;) That's the acting part.

I saw it.
[spoiler] Yeah. I also love Megs while Peter's voice was soo gentleman like Prime's character. ;;)

I think Megs look very cool in film,I forget his urgly design and Hugo impressed me. He could capture the voice emotion to this Megs character for me.

When megs kill Jazz, I feel his sound along that line very insane and enjoy killing with his ruthless but the scene just very fast move.

I like when Megs say "Disgusting" and flick one man off him, this was give me an evil laughing, He was so BADASS. ;;)

I didn't feel megs is so much scary but his character in film like he was tricky, despite and hunger. (it was just too short screen time for most of the Decepticons)

Just want to see more of Megs with Starscream and Megs with Prime [spoiler]

Stalinglad, I didn't think Hugo will be back for the sequal.
Hugo never appear to talk about it. He didn't say anything which I assumed he may want to give respection to Frank. He did notthing over on Frank.

Hugo was just for the character in film which I think Megs character in film was a bit different in my view. Once Hugo take the role, he was that character.

As I said before Bay just didn't manage it right for voice actor state. The dialogue in some scene just like the competition talk and messy.

Frankly, I love to see Peter,Frank and Hugo working together
for this prequal that would be great to hear. But it blow just like the wind when Frank didn't play any role in film.

I just hope to hear Frank will be in the sequal.

Nice, very nice. Some awesome lines IMO, definately bringing a grin to my face when I saw/heard it. Hugo was a very good choice for Megs, but I got to agree with many of you and say Frank Welker couldn't do this, because...?

They really do have the voice altered so much especially compaired to Cullens that in all honesty, if I didn't know before hand, I'd have no idea it was Hugo, well at least base off that clip. So I'm begining to feel Welker got gyped on this a little. I mean if you're going to alter the voice to such a degree, might as well have Welker on board to please the diehard fans I'd think.

I too don't get the impression that Hugo isn't signed on for the long run so I think it be wise for Bay to talk to Welker again when it comes to sequal time.

The best weaving scene is with Starscream, but since the movie has been out in the states for a day now, Im sure you are all aware of that by now.

Just one of many good scenes of this movie! Freakin Sweet! I liked Megatron's voice too, Weaving does a good job, kinda sounds like a deeper Welker. But I still hell don't like that Megatron design, ugly, it didn't fit at all with the rest of the Transformers new earthy look in the movie, maybe was too odd or out of place, still he was one mean fast cyber jet with teeth. Yup, I still hate the designs of movie Megatron, Starscream and most of the autobots faces with a passion. Still, this Movie kicks ass!
