the grey one is a totally different sculpt than the battle damaged figure, the grey one is the voyager sized toy, the battle damaged toy is delux as can be seen by his tiny size compared to bulkhead. the grey figure has many differences, look at his axe on his back, the extra parts on the side of teh lower leg, the big horns on his head.

I see 2 reasons:
1. They scrapped the Voyager model, and then decided to modify the deluxe version to look like the voyager. They would have to either add dare i say it... A Trailer... to warrant the Voyager Price point, even if the actual robot is deluxe sized.
OR
2. This is going to be an additional Deluxe release, made to look like the voyager version.
And the real voyager version still remains to be seen.
tformers.com has some pics of a somewhat colored Prototype of the Voyager, ands yes the mold does indeed look different.

Hmm weird to say the least.
Bumblethumper wrote:This is interesting in that it's neither the Cybertronian mode nor the fire-truck earth mode. Looks sort of like G1 Prime done in the animated style, which would be a nice idea as an homage.
I can't tell for sure if this is a retool of the deluxe or the voyager, but I'm leaning towards the voyager. Either way it's substantially different from both. It's a good scale with Bulkhead, any bigger would be a little too big. Perhaps voyagers will be smaller this time around.
A very nice figure overall. I hope they loose the battle damage, but overall I prefer it to the other animated Primes.

the grey toy is earth mode voyager size, hes about 8 inches tall, has a big axe and gun which combine to form his 'trailer'.
the coloured up 'split windscreen' damage prime is a delux figure and is in the upcoming 2 pack. It is NOT voyager size, thats easy enough to see from the shots with bulkhead, hes about BB size just like cybertron prime. This version does match the current animation model so i wonder if the differences in the voyager figure are reflected later in the animation?
