Even though these guys are suppose to be voyager class figures, but something is not right, i cant put my finger on it yet, but i'll wait for more pics and if these are $500 plus, i have better things to spend my money on. like FP which are far more superior.

I'm guessing that these guys are going to be on the high end of the deluxe class size range judging by the size of the screws and their placement in relation to certain pivot points and also, in Hooks case, just with doing a mental comparison of his rope size in relation to Armada Smokescreen, who also came equipped with a rope for his hook and winch mechanism. Also have to figure in that, despite the sheer awesomeness, making 6 Voyager size figures for this set is going to put it out of a lot of peoples price range and therefore not be the least bit profitable for TFClub.

Yeesh, voyager sized? Well if they do 1 every 6 months or something, then it might be affordable. The colors look good, but I think it's still missing some paint apps.

In a previous post I mentioned that FansProject's Munitioner and Explorer both sold for $50.00+ each and they were Scout Class size, but both came with additional guns and parts. With that in mind, if these "not-Constructicons" are Deluxe Class or even Voyager Class, then each one will most likely be $75.00 to $100.00 each, respectively. So when all is said and done and shipping is calculated in, I'll be surprised if this complete set sells for less than $1000.00.

My concern based on green/purple figures picture, I hope the characters don't each come in a different shade of green and purple. I hope all characters share the same shade of neon green and same shade of dark purple.

Regardless, I think this is going to be a sweet set to have and a must-have for the G1 collector, especially those of us that lived it.

These guys are looking better and better. TFClub has definately improvede their game since the failure that was Battle Rollar.

As for size, I'm going with beefy deluxe/Optimus Prime-sized voyager.

I wouldn't doubt that price range (pray real hard they're sold individually and spaced out). But we might get lucky. Munitioner and Explorer were scout sized because they had to integrate with the existing set, and a lot of their extras were needed to add the proper look and engineering. In the image I described earlier, Scavenger's arm mode may have been formed entirely from him with only the hand as extra. In terms of plastic, that might even out to larger scale figures with almost no extra parts close to the $50 side of town. (PRAY REAL HARDER)

Also, I fully agree about the colors. I would be happiest if they all used Scavenger's green and Hook's purple.

I fully expect the price tag to be around $100 each (ouch) but I, like many others, also hope they are wise enough to space out the releases.

I would find it much easier to swallow around $100 a month for 6 months than 1 painful month.

I have to admit, I'm less thrilled about this now. The size will definitely be epic, but the cost will almost certainly be very expensive. And it makes me nervous that this is their first real foray into the full figure creation arena-very ambitious with potential for quality issues.

Makes me hope that CF3 from Fansproject is indeed Devastator. I'd choose it simply because of their proven track record.

I hope this isn't released separately...what happens if something happens between the first and last figure and we don't get them all? Plus they'd probably be cheaper overall sold as a set than individually, even before factoring in shipping x 6...

I was thinking more along the lines of the company, or whatever they are, putting these out goes bankrupt or something and no one is able to get them all, but missing one for personal reasons would be a potential issue, too. (Unless whoever released Voltron was unable to put all the figs out for some reason...)

I don't think this can come out fast enough. Those alt-modes look amazing, and while not AS inspiring, the robot modes are pretty cool looking too (definately need to uniform the colour shades).

There are indeed advantages for both a staggered release and a grouped release. Not sure which I prefer but either way I sure hope TFClub won't expect punters to put down the cash until we've seen the entire set. Ideally I'd like them to get some early completed sets out to Optibotimus, peaugh and Vange1us for them to review to help prove that it'll be worth SUCH an investment. I'm sure those three will agree with me, lol.

I bet these guys do require their "tails" to stand. Especially Hook, that boom is massive. I'm okay with that though, to stay true to the original character designs on these two is was somewhat inevitable. As soon as I have all six it will most likely be all Devy all the time anyway.

I think this is a really good idea. For the most part, I already know what I want and what I dont; I just watch the reviews for the fun of it, to learn things I might not know, and to get someone else's opinion for comparison. But for something like this, in which I'm uncertain and on the fence, seeing reviews from these guys would go a long way to helping me decide whether or not I want these figures.

Yeah, my fear is that their backpacks are going to make them so backheavy as to require the tails. If one, maybe two did that, I think it'd be forgivable - I can overlook one or two of six. But that we've already seen two of them that appear to have tails does not bode well for the rest. We shall see...

The other four will probably be okay since their alt modes don't tend to create "tails". Mixmaster will likely have a pretty big backpack, but not a "tail".

whats with all the anti-tail propaganda here? you're all tailist!

seriously, I think these guys look ok. a few of the others should have pretty chunky feet, so those ones will likely be ok to stand on their own, and as El Duque says, they're primarily going to be Devastator if I can afford to get them anyway.

For what it is worth I think these guys might actually be mega sized figures (Think crossovers, a size in between voyager and deluxe, or Warbot Defender). I don't think they'll have the same price hike as Munitioner and Explorer have, since, as someone said eariler, they're not going to be loaded with accessories for the other 4 figures. It seems like it would be better for the consumer and producer if each figure focused purely on one part of the combined body.

If TFClub wants to make it easier for the fans to get one of each, then I would place the price around 75-90 bucks a figure. I think that even though it is from a third party, the market for such products is no longer as much as a mystery to us as it used it to be to us. Fansproject, and to a lesser extent, TFclub has set the bar in a firmly in consumer's minds about how much we're willing to pay for products, and what we expect from said product.

The Grand Patriot is sold at 160-180, but you're getting both versions of it, which makes it 80-90 a figure. Warbot was roughly 70-80 bucks when it was released the first time. While Arcee had two toys, a lot people were put off by the one that cost around 140. It seems like Impossible Toys are the only ones bucking market trends, but for the most part, the market has been around long enough to give people a reasonable estimate of what works business-wise.

So yeah, I agree with everybody else thinking the combined lot will sell for 450 to 560 before tax and shipping.

Particularly nice: these seem to fit with the Classics/FansProject aesthetic quite well. Unless these turn out insanely expensive (over $90 or so a limb) I'll be getting a set.

Ooo! What if TFClub sent a different bot to each of them and a few other big names (say, this one) and they'd all have to work together to make the gestalt at botcon. The final reveal would be a big event!

ALSO, I found on TFW2005 this image with their coverage:

On the shelf above happens to be Grindcore without his gun. A deluxe from the TF Cybertron line. I don't own this dude, but I'll say they're going to be a bit larger.

Good eye on spotting Grindcore. He's a deluxe and even though they aren't on the same shelf they seem to be about the same distance from the camera and they look about the same size. So I'm thinking deluxe on Scavenger. They also have several other construction vehicle based figures up there I guess they've been researching.
