Never cared much for the character other than in the Marvel story Target 2006 where as Galvatron's prisoner he laughs at him about Megatron being against Galvatron. Still it's a decent figure for his fans and certainly a lot better than the godawful Prowl mold he could have so easily been reshelled from.

I wonder though since movie Jazz had his deluxes redecoed into G1 styles will this possibly come out in all shiny silver (would definitely improve on the cheap looking white plastic). I'm plenty happy with my HA movie Jazz though.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

lol! Just kidding!

In all seriousness, a silver repaint would be very interesting. I do hope that the shins on final product are all black instead of half black and half white.

looks great. Love the pissed off look too!
wonder about the articulation though.....hope he's not as limited as say Classics Prowl is....leg wise i mean. It looks to me the only pose he may look best in is just standing, lookin all stern and pissed. Hope those feet can move around a bit and those hip joints too.

I don't know about the ankles but he's got thigh and bicep swivel, wrist swivel, most likely ball joint hips, good proportions and double knee joints. I don't think articulation will be a problem!

Clever HasTak, very clever, making the gun have two forms since it has to fold up to store in vehicle mode. Pistol blaster for when he's doing the spy thing, assault rifle for the big battles. The speakers are just a sweet bonus.

Personally I love the 'S*** just got serious, yo!' expression. It's very 'despite being a cool cat I'll mess you evil dudes' stuff up'.

Was already buy on sight as Jazz is one of my favorite characters overall, but now even more so.

PS: Bless them for getting around trademarks with something other than just slapping Autobot on the front like the movie versions.

The faction symbol is missing and this looks stupid. "Revral the shield" might mean rub stickers, but back in the G1 days the rub sticker was an addition. It was not meant to be a replacement for the faction symbol. (execpt for the little car that they used to introduce the rub stickers, I think it was blue, but I cant remember if it was an actual bonus figure or just a cartoon segment of a toy commercial) Does any body remember this commercial ???

Noticed the other day that the rubsigns on my only two remaining Classics figures (Voyager Prime and Deluxe Rodimus) don't actually work anymore. To be honest I never saw the point of the things anyways even on my old G1 toys. They're ugly and useless. I've peeled off the Classics ones and using insignia stickers from Reprolabels instead. Actually my Rodimus already uses their Classics sticker sheet so he's got an autobot insignia on his chest anyways with the much improved flames. Don't get why they're making a themed line of this worthless 'feature'.

Compared to TakaraTomy, Hasbro leaves out a lot of paint apps due to cost. Hasbro has the whole world to consider, while TakaraTomy is limited to Japan.
