I can't believe all the great repaints that came from the Cybertron line only last year, now all of a sudden all the new repaints for the movie line suck ass. Aside from the G1 Jazz repaint, There's not a single one that even looks anywhere near good.

Pergutory Prime, eh?i_amtrunks wrote:Interesting to see a Prime repaint that is not Ultra Magnus, its taken a while too.
This also gives me hope of seeing a repainted Leader Megatron figure.
Prime's colours aren't half bad, aren't half good either though.

It doesn't matter I don't think...
I exist, so they've essentially already sold at least one.

QFFT!
That is what I always said but no one seemed to agree. Chrome on all the lame grey plastic areas would have done WONDERS to take this guy at almost MP levels of detailing/awesomeness...
That and a damned retractable sword-arm like in the film...I'm looking at YOU Hasbro!!!

Didn't Hasbro say that at the time they made the toy, they didn't know Prime was going to do that in the film?
or am I misremembering that?

Yeah, don't dis HASBRO when CP's around. He'll always have a COUNTERPUNCH to your PUNCH. Pun intended.

Great, ain't it?
Hasbro has and does still make some cool stuff, but an oversight like that is very lame, regardless of the reason.

and I'm not defending Hasbro here, but those toys were designed WAY before the finalized script had been revealed. I don't think it was an oversight, the panel seemed genuinely disappointed they couldn't incorporate that aspect of Prime.
