My brother ordered a Victorian for each of us. (Did I mention that I have an AWESOME younger brother? Anyhoo...) We unboxed them side by side, to discover that each of us had a scratched Stormclash sword, in the same spot (about an inch front the tip if the blade), seemingly caused by friction from the plastic ties. On my set, Jumstream's waist is really loose (her "elbow" in arm mode is floppy to point of being unposeable).Dustup's feet will NOT tab together properly on either set in arm mode. Both Jumpstream and Dustup feel light and fragile, (almost KO-ish), when compared to their mold mates from my other combiners, as if made from cheaper plastic. (Pyra Magna's back and ladder do as well). And we were both forced to battle with Rust Dust just to get her mounted to Victorion's chest. (I resorted to two-sided tape on her forearm pegs). Don't get me wrong, I love the set, and what it represents in both diversity and inclusion to our beloved hobby, as well as fan input. However, I can't help but feel a little let down over such bizarre (lazy?) quality control issues... she is obviously a marketable, profitable character, that we all waited a very long time for. While I can fix (most of) the issues with my set, I would prefer a little bit more "give a damn" from Hasbro to its customer base. We deserved better, Hasbro.
...back in my day, you had one alt-mode. ONE! Articulation? why, if you had enough articulation to transform, you had plenty. And if you wanted more articulation, you know what you did about it? NOTHING. You transformed, stood there with your faceplate closed, and your optics sharp, just like everybody else who didn't have ball-jointed this, and swivel-jointed that. And when your were told to, you transformed and rolled out! ...And another thing...
